  • Visit the Maroparque is an experience worth living in person. The atmosphere is pretty good, and its decoration more still. The fact of being outdoor, wooden bridges, decoration of ruined temples, feeling of being in the Woods, etc.. they make the visit quite enjoyable. The staff was pretty friendly, informed us about the different animals that had, their Habitat, even allowed us to catch some reptiles such as snakes. His visit is highly recommended.

  • We found this little Zoo by accident. After a sweaty ascent, we have chosen the Maro Parque as a welcome rest. It costs 8 euros while entrance per person, appears expensive first, but given how much as a wildlife park in the maintenance you can justify the price. Usually it comes anyway only once then. In the entrance area, which lies in darkness were an eagle and an OWL with shackles on a tree trunk. (Me terribly sorry did). The system is built on a steep slope. You will pass to aviaries with a wide variety of bird species, a small Petting Zoo cages with little monkey and enclosures with pigs. There are ostrich and Rhea, turtles and giant snakes in captivity. The system as such is beautifully landscaped and adventurous. A guided tour takes about half an hour. Of course you can stay longer in it. Also I can join some previous reviewers, the cages are very small. And whether it has should sound the terrarium with loud music, you know. In the interests of animal protection, here are some should be changed. But I have not witnessed disturbed animals. We were lucky newly-born pigs to sehen...sooo sweet! Our visit was worth already.

  • Actually we wanted to in the bird park in El Paso. The lady from the tourist info told us that this is closed for 5 years and recommended us the above Zoo. We arrived and the entrance area, has shocked us already so much, that we are again reversed. A huge OWL and a bird of prey on the ground on a piece of wood in the leg were tied. The two were already sitting in their own excrement, movement is absolutely impossible, because the piece Schnurr maybe Max is 20 cm. The bird of prey that totally confused and apathetic on this wood. We can not recommend absolutely to go here. It was all - literally - to shit already at the entrance. One can really only hope for the animals that this zoo, will soon close or come the animal rights on the funnel, because what we have found is an absolutely unworthy life prison for animals who are helplessly exposed to the gaze and the loading Taetschelungen of the visitors!

  • Surprising place on hillside, not large but enjoyed our visit
  • Really nice little zoo, highly recommend
  • Quaint little animal park, enclosures of decent sizes, however most water dishes seemed to either be dirty or not present. Rodents aren't in the best condition, these are apparently rescues - however that haven't been given any medical attention. Hard to find! Not signed until you're very close to the park!
  • Built along a steep hill, this is a vertical zoo. Bring your climbing or walking shoes!
  • In a bizarre way a quiet entertaining place, because you get very close to the animals and the place is really strange, but the conditions for the animals are mostly rather sad...
