  • Interesting church built by the Jesuits, with a style inspired by their Roman headquarters. Los Santos Juanes is refiren to San Juan Evangelista and San Juan Bautista, the rather sober building, contrasts with some magnificent altarpieces that adorn it. It is seat of the confraternity of the Vera Cruz. He suffered much with the de1983 August floods that drowned all the old town when the Nervion river left its banks, but the reconstruction was meticulous. It is worth visiting it.

  • Church perfectly restored after the great flood that occurred in 1983, interesting visit since it is a Grand Baroque Temple of the Classicist phase.

  • The parish church of los Santos Juanes, of the 17TH century, occupied, along with the Basque Museum, which in its day was a Jesuit Foundation outside the walls of the historic centre of the town: the whole of the Church and the Colegio de San Andrés. Undergoing successive transformations, this Church of Baroque style with Renaissance elements, has an altar dedicated to the sacred heart, unique in the world. After the floods of 1983, was restored under the direction of architect Miguel Angel Corcuera. It is a model of Jesuit church with Latin cross plan inscribed in a rectangle and nave with chapels on both sides.
