#2 of 58 in Parks in Costa Blanca
For an exciting animal adventure, check out Mundomar, a sprawling park with penguins, dolphins, meerkats, sea lions, bats, and parrots. This attraction is part of a large complex that includes an adjacent water park, one of Europe’s largest. Dolphin, sea lion, and parrot shows are available several times a day, allowing curious visitors a chance to observe trained handlers as they interact with and feed the wild animals. The park hosts numerous activities throughout the day, most of which are designed to be enjoyed by families with small children. To ensure a satisfactory visit, research upcoming special events and book your tickets online. • We didn't know the Park and felt me great. We have spent a great day with our children from 5 to 2 years. 1) Parking free, first joy you get. 2) train with helpful and friendly staff that brings you closer to the entrance. We started well! 3) very reasonable entrance fee (€ 59 two adults and a child, and the small free - internet promotion). (4) the Park is lovely, neat, and in my opinion very well conditioned for warmth (chamizos, water dispersants, shadows...). Does it heat? Of course! It is August. But they have done very smoothly, the truth. (5) it is very large, ideal to spend the day with small. Alternatively, is the entrance of afternoon. (6) shows very well, the dolphins is a pass. (7) the personal charming, how important is that. AREAS for improvement: the food did not seem expensive, but can be improved. It is true that the experiences are expensive and marked as a "vip" distance... but are alternatives, you don't need them to enjoy a great day.

  • We enjoyed th sea lion and dolphin show but not sure how they came up with the idea of mixing synchronised swimming with a dolphin show though. Quite a lot of the walking was on a slope. The penguin p...  more »

  • Mundomar is not as big as you might think it is. The park is small and you can go round it in 20 minutes. The main advantage is that it is designed so you spend time with animals and enjoy the shows that are on offer. Everything is timed and goes in the direction of next attraction. If I knew this from the start I would planned it out in a different way, but I am still really happy. The shows are amazing, animals well looked after. When you get there don’t miss any of the photo taking opportunity or shows. You don’t have to buy the photos but you’ll get an unforgettable experience while with animals.
  • Incredible shows put on here. All the animals look well looked after and happy. Friendly staff
  • Very nice park. Spectacular shows where the animals are in the spotlight. The park is build on a hill and is very clean. The staff is super friendly.
  • Mundomar is by far the best animal park in the Benidorm area. While not particularly large in comparison to the others, the quality of the visit is far better. It's easy to find Mundomar, the car parking is on the doorstep, and the range of animals is superb. Their are (paid and free) opportunities to meet with the animals. What makes Mundomar better than the competition (e.g. Terra Natura) is that its a good size (you can get around it in a couple of hours and feel you've seen everything). It's a nice day out for younger and older kids alike. The only slight letdown for me is the restaurants only serve fries/hotdog style food. A few healthier options might have been nice!
  • me and the girlfriend arrived about 10:15 and viewed the park in less than hour walking slowly, was expecting so much more. The dolphin show at 1:30 which we waited around for was the best part of that park.

Where to stay in Benidorm

Thanks to the city's compact layout, visitors often find that nothing is too far on foot while vacationing in Benidorm. The city is made up of three main areas: Parte Vieja, Levante, and Centro. Parte Vieja includes the historical old quarter. The beachfront area, Levante offers numerous options for lodging close to trendy restaurants and the buzzing nightlife. Although a bit pricier than inland accommodations, these hotels give you doorstep access to, and splendid views of, the city's famous beaches. A ten-minute walk inland in the Centro district, accommodations tend to be more affordable while still providing easy access to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites.
