Where to stay in Benidorm

Thanks to the city's compact layout, visitors often find that nothing is too far on foot while vacationing in Benidorm. The city is made up of three main areas: Parte Vieja, Levante, and Centro. Parte Vieja includes the historical old quarter. The beachfront area, Levante offers numerous options for lodging close to trendy restaurants and the buzzing nightlife. Although a bit pricier than inland accommodations, these hotels give you doorstep access to, and splendid views of, the city's famous beaches. A ten-minute walk inland in the Centro district, accommodations tend to be more affordable while still providing easy access to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites.

  • We just wanted to see the dolphin show which we saw and were not disapointed, it was fantastic. All the other animals they have ther are just as interesting and worth seeing. It was a great day out.  more »

  • Mundomar is not as big as you might think it is. The park is small and you can go round it in 20 minutes. The main advantage is that it is designed so you spend time with animals and enjoy the shows that are on offer. Everything is timed and goes in the direction of next attraction. If I knew this from the start I would planned it out in a different way, but I am still really happy. The shows are amazing, animals well looked after. When you get there don’t miss any of the photo taking opportunity or shows. You don’t have to buy the photos but you’ll get an unforgettable experience while with animals.
  • Incredible shows put on here. All the animals look well looked after and happy. Friendly staff
  • Very nice park. Spectacular shows where the animals are in the spotlight. The park is build on a hill and is very clean. The staff is super friendly.
  • Mundomar is by far the best animal park in the Benidorm area. While not particularly large in comparison to the others, the quality of the visit is far better. It's easy to find Mundomar, the car parking is on the doorstep, and the range of animals is superb. Their are (paid and free) opportunities to meet with the animals. What makes Mundomar better than the competition (e.g. Terra Natura) is that its a good size (you can get around it in a couple of hours and feel you've seen everything). It's a nice day out for younger and older kids alike. The only slight letdown for me is the restaurants only serve fries/hotdog style food. A few healthier options might have been nice!
  • me and the girlfriend arrived about 10:15 and viewed the park in less than hour walking slowly, was expecting so much more. The dolphin show at 1:30 which we waited around for was the best part of that park.
