  • We were the day October 11 at mundomar. The Park is not very large but is beautiful. Animals in perfect condition, everything very very clean and detail. The spectacle of them birds a little soso, the of them Lions Marine was very well and the of them dolphins spectacular. In a morning or an afternoon you can see it very well. We went to the 1; 30 and at 6; 30 we already had all seen Super-Duper, and that with a kid's very moved 3 years worth worth visiting it

  • We were there more than half a day with my husband and my two kids from 2 to 4 years. I have to say that we passed it phenomenal.. .the performances are very elaborate and all fun... both dolphins, seals and birds. The birds surprised us very pleasantly surprised... The Park is beautiful is well maintained, very clean... There is a children area very good for rest and you have fun with the kids... We ate there an excellent paella... To repeat

  • Went here for the day while on holiday in Spain. The wildlife shows were mainly for educating the children on looking after animals. The animal exhibitions were clean and well maintained. The parrot show was a bit of a let down. Seemed quite shouty and the tables were in a akward seating arrangement. You had to crane your neck to see anything. Food in the cafeteria was ok. Went on the same day as a few school trips so struggled to find seating. You can have your photo taken with dolphins, sealions and parrots too. Kids loved it. Not bad for the price.
  • One of the oddest places to have built a "seaworld" style park... at the top of a hill. The shows were entertaining, but I can't help thinking of the "Blackfish" movie, as where do these sea creatures spend their time... stuck in small tanks on the top of a hill?!? I think this will be our last ever visit to a park of this genre.
  • Mundomar is a good little zoo, with equal attention to land and sea animals, unlike the name suggests. (SeaWorld in English). It doesn't take long to get through all the exhibits, but all the animals look happy and looked after. There are three shows to see, a bird show (which was good), a sea lion show(which I missed), and a dolphin show(which was brilliant, and not to be missed.). All of these are free to attend once inside the park. There are multiple opportunities to interact with animals, however these were very poor. This is because their plan is to take a photo of you with the animals (which they plan to sell to you later), and then move you on so they can do the same to the next guest. The animal is shoved into your hands, you are asked to look at the camera a member of staff is holding, he snaps a photo, then the animal is taken away, and you are ushered off. The worst was the lemurs. You are let into their exhibit, and you walk a few metres through the exhibit. I tried to take a photo of the lemurs around me, but was aggressively told, "no photos". They motioned me to sit on a bench, but there was a lemur in the way. Strangely, he just kept telling me to sit, multiple times, even though there was no space for me. I thought he maybe wanted me to just move the lemur myself, so I began to make the motion to push it on gently. This was met with strong No-No-Nos, and at that point he brushed the Lemur away himself. Some fruit was poured into my hand, a Lemur climbed over my shoulder to get the fruit, and I was told to look into the camera. I did so, but my mother was distracted with her lemur. The photographer said " Hello, Hello, Yes, Hello, Look into the camera now please." with an unnecessary aggression. He took the photo, and we were ushered out. Unnecessary aggression sums that whole moment up, I understand there is a queue of people waiting to get in, but I genuinely never really got a chance to just look at the lemur in my hands. It was sort of sad. You can pay to get in the water with either the seals or the dolphins. I was told the dolphins are 30€ for 1 person, 50€ for 2. I don't know if the price for the seals are different. We skipped this though. The dolphin show was really very good. Lots of dolphin and trainer interaction that was cool, they even had small children from the audience in boats which the dolphins jump over. Very impressive, much better than the show at Valencia aquarium.
  • Great little zoo/sea world. Dolphin show & Sealions are excellent.
  • Mundomar is an extremely well run animal park sure to provide an enjoyable day for the family. We picked up discounts when we arrived in Alicante so the price was just €60 for a family of 4. You will note that there are a lot of optional extras such a feedings or holding animals. Absolutely let the kids do everything! There is no money up front, just reasonably priced photos you may optionally purchase when you leave. These were €4/ea or 3 for €10. These guys run a slick business. There was plenty of shade, fans blowing mist everywhere, fellas with big water tanks on their backs spraying the crowds to keep you cool, ice cream vendors with the selection and cost printed largely on the back of their shirts so there was no guessing, and stuffed toys from the souvenir shop as low as €5. Mundomar is a slick, well managed business. We were happy to spend extra as we didn't feel were were being constantly gouged. The seal show was pretty standard to what we've seen in Murcia and elsewhere. The dolphin show was a real stand out, the best I've seen. The parrot show was also really excellent. Instead of a few paltry tricks they let the parrots fly over your heads which was great fun. The bird of prey show seemed ill-suited to such a small venue (same place as the seal show) and even the trainers seemed frustrated. Still that didn't take away from the day. While the narrative of the shows is primarily in Spanish they throw in just enough English to keep you in the loop and it doesn't detract from the shows, except the Seal show which has a big production about pirates the kids couldn't understand but enjoyed nonetheless. The zoo itself is very nice and compact. The seals and the lemurs were the kids favourites. Even though it was very hot (over 40C) we had a great day out and would highly recommend.
