  • Stroll just two-hour (round-trip), indispensable for everything that travels first to the Valley of Benasque, being probably the most visited place of this Valley and one of the most beautiful of the Spanish Pyrenees. The Forau de Aiguallut is a pit or sump where disappearing water coming from the glacier of the Aneto and Maladeta, to re-emerge again surface in the Valley d'Aran (Artiga de Lin), in the basin of the Garonne River, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean in the French city of Bordeaux. Amazing, simple changes in basin of river and sea in which flow the waters. Water disappears underground 2,074 metres above sea level and is four kilometres away, 1.658 metres above sea level. Things of nature. . The excursion to the Forau begins in the plain of Besurta (1,900 m), 13 km north of Benasque, by the A-139, an Esplanade conditioned as parking throughout the year except for July and August, and follow the signs for the refuge of the Renclusa Forau d'Aigualluts - the road is the same during the first 15 minutes - until we find a detour to the right that leads to the refuge and we continue our route up the Prairie and the cascade of Aigualluts. No snow, no problem, otherwise will have to do it the road snowshoe has a height of 200 m. It is an easy route, you can do with children.

  • Incredible, not-very-long excursion. Suitable for travelling with children, although there is a slightly rugged stretch but it is worth when you get up. Down went almost the last in lower and going tired we were silent and they left us to receive the marmots... They were like little teddy bears... We watched and played the young among them... Quite a spectacle in those incredible meadows. One pass

  • Is a place wonderful, to them feet of the glacier of the Aneto, not costs too get but, for my it more curious is see as disappears the water of the glacier in this Forao that should pour their waters towards the river Esera and however, it makes after ones kilometers of travel underground towards them Guells of the Jewish, in the nearby vale of Aran and carrying their waters to the river Garona , in the France Atlantic slope.
