  • Bear House is OK, but it is not an overly attractive Museum. Is rather something simple and modest, but entertaining. The girl who treats you (Alba is called) is very nice. A problem we encounter is could not do us visit to wolves fencing because it was her own. However, ourselves alone could make the visit because the trail is indicated and is straight until you get to the fence where they are wolves. It is an easy walking track and that as children trolleys can be.

Cosmopaletismo. Then 90% of visitors will be schools, and thus we justify already thousands of visitors a year. This House of the Wolf is an example so glaring that it is only missing have been designed by Calatrava. But the rest is just as regrettable. A building whose reform and conditioning cost more than one million Euros (at least that I've read). Inside there are many things, wolves carton stone, a button that it press and sounds a MP3 of the howl of a Wolf, infographics to all color with data of the Wolf that or know or you imported, others buttons that reproduce in a tele countrymen telling a tale. And everything, that Yes, with a very elegant aesthetic, very uniform, a Tierra Astur style but no barbecues. If it weren't for that, that would be cumbersome as a journey into the Witch's train, and over without a junkie to you of a cleanup. In a pathetic and embarrassing thing, umpteenth looting coffers with the excuse of cultural, educational purposes and all the bullshit. On a site such as Belmonte, where each village and each tower is an ethnographic museum in real life, with ranchers and real farmers who barely subsist, there would be another thing in which spend the fortune of what this cost beyond that to papering the walls with data of wolves and put two TVs and four speakers. By the way, of the Wolf as a real threat to the rural world and raising cattle, little or nothing is mentioned. The only thing salvageable, friendliness and professionalism of the girl who was the Guide.

  • Good choice to see close to the wolves. Visit to the House and visit to the fencing prior pleasant walk of 1.5 km along a path upstream (Pigüeña) until the fencing. During the brief explanations of what we are finding in the way (Texos, steps away from animals, footprints, mills...)

  • Good visiting point in the area.
  • A beautiful Museum, very small and coquettish, c on an excellent service. In addition to the Museum route may be to see the wolves (highly recommended). The professionalism of the guide is excellent, and makes the small very pleasant walk. Very good experience with children. The village of Belmonte is very nice and eats very well.

  • Museum highly recommended to learn about local wildlife and efforts of protection and conservation of one of the spices of the region, exists the possibility of seeing wolves in semi-liberty and see their way of life.
