  • There is a small walk in slope upwards. There is a small parking nearby. Only becomes a worthwhile part of a wall that really nor is known was a castle if you're not reading explanations that you'll find the town. But the views that there is from there up are incredible.

  • I think that the best climb to the castle of Begur is not the castle itself, because there are only ruins, do not expect to see a medieval fortress... But if there are more things... the ascent is by a journey to enjoy the journey, is nice walk... one time up offers great views of the region... from the Baix Empordà until the Pyrenees... and the great costa brava... the top of the castle only offers a small plain to enjoy the view in any direction... then it would be interesting to soak in history to get an idea of what this site was... I think that it is worth climbing...

  • It is a place near the center of the city which can be reached after a very well signposted walk and in which you can see the houses of the place and very nice views since you Ascend up to the Castle. It is worth doing!

  • This castle is like no other, it just keeps the exterior and you can climb to the top and have a 360 degree view of all the area. You can see the nearby beaches (Pals, Sa riera, Sa tuna) as well as the mountains (Mountain of Torroella de Montgri -also with a castle on top and there is the myth you can see the silouette of a lying woman-) and the Pyrenees in the very back. You can also see all the town of Begur and take amazing pictures there.
  • Great views!
  • Great view of the surroundings
  • Bonica panoràmica del baix empordà
  • Fantastic views
