Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.

  • Very well designed, very good quality and a beautiful via ferrata! My first Spanish via ferrata, I enjoyed it very much!  more »
  • You have sections for all the difficulties from K2 to K5 as the of the it espigó, K4 crash prior to the staircase and a Nepalese bridge which has never and wind for those who have vertigo is very suffered. There is a way to get to the top if you do not see you with force. But if you do it from the beginning through the bridge, it espigó and ladder will be a good challenge

  • Beautiful via ferrata with a remarkable very aerial cable, Tibetan bridge equipment. The last part to reach the plateau is not the prettiest, but you travel for the view.

  • Excellent via ferrata. It's suitable also for beginners, since you can always skip the difficult parts if you need to. Also the end point rewards you with an astonishing view over the whole Valley
  • Good Ferrata and close to Barcelona. Optional K4 K5 with a stretch.

  • Gran via with a short approach and a long run that takes advantage of all the wall until you reach the top of the Puigsagordi. With the Nepalese bridge 68 meters and crashes there are sections for all tastes. That is a very busy road so he plays up early to do it calmly and without crowds.

  • Excellent via ferrata, in very good condition. A Nepali bridge quite tricky the first time. I've spent a great deal of fear, but I've spent. The hard part, to top off the job.
