  • In my tour of the city on a double-decker bus, we saw the stop towards the Tibidabo. They can go up to Tibidabo by car, taxi, on foot or on the blue tram. The tram ticket costs €3 ida y ida €4.70 and return. When they buy their ticket buses double-decker, apart from the map, give them little book of discounts, which can leverage for the payment of the tram. This tram was opened in 1901 to link the railway station of the avenida Tibidabo with the funicular of Tibidabo. Trams in the city have been replaced by buses, so this is a survivor of the era of the trams. Travel was worth of return prefer walking to admire the houses in the area down.

  • For the short distance, the fare (€5.50) is already excessive. But for this sitting in a beautifully restored old blue tram from the last century, which is operated by two people. Sedately, do up the mountain or down. We drove up to the bus and had a nearly empty trams and two seats up front. Tourists are just like lemmings: everybody all at the same time.

  • It is not a transport only up to Tibidabo, it is unique opportunity to climb on a means of transport for over 100 years. It is not a replica. That must be the reason for its high price, it is a museum with wheels. Up to Tibidabo should continue the journey with the funicular. By the way, and following other comments: prices are clearly posted at the stop.
