Tibidabo, Barcelona

(4.3/5 based on 4,200+ reviews on the web)
An amusement park with a 100-year history in Catalonia, Tibidabo is more than just rides. The Sky Walk is 500 m (1,640 ft) of attractions with a city as a backdrop. Strolling the area is free. Each ride charges a fee. If you plan to try out a lot of rides, consider purchasing a ticket that includes all the attractions. An all-day ticket includes old favorites, such as a carousel, a Ferris wheel, and roller coasters, as well as newer attractions. Street performers often line the park's walkway. • very nice to visit this beautiful place, at the top, there is a beautiful church, there is also a vantage point from which you get a beautiful view of the city, which will take the elevator, it has cost to pay in cash, but unfortunately the day was very cold, and foggy. We went to the home of February... consider it

  • Tibidabo is the highest point in Barcelona, when you visit the church, you can pay and reach the highest point as I did which was interesting, but you can also save your money and just enjoy the top v...  more »
  • Is the first time that I'm going there and I has delighted. It is true that the Park is to reform but has incredible views of the city. Got a heel of discounts on hotel and £ 10 we caught the funicular and we got two rides of panoramic views. To go there you should go up to Av. Tibidabo in metro and once there, you can choose how to reach the funicular, blue tram or bus number 196, both make the same trip but the tram is quite expensive for what is, instead the bus you enter using the same ticket for the metro and the stop is very near the tram. Highly recommended for families and groups of friends or couples.

  • An amusement park named from a quote from Satan! You're probably expecting rides with names like "The Decapitator" or "The Disembowler", in which case you'd be disappointed, this is an elegant amusement park... for a more civilized age. It is one of the oldest amusement parks in Europe and it's focus is on classic fairground rides. Its worth a visit, just for the views over Barcelona and the surrounding area. You can get there entirely by public transport, but the walk up is beautiful, although you need to be reasonably fit and have at least a good pair of walking/training shoes. Pay a visit to the basilica, which is adjacent to the park, whilst you are there.
  • This is a amusement park like the rest of them. Great for the kids, specially the smaller ones. Some waiting lines, the food is so-so. Clean toilets and otherwise clean park. With a visit if you promised the kid to go to such park.
  • As a tourist from Hong Kong, the park was truly amazing. Tibidabo may not give you the best excitement that an amusement park could offer, however, the lovely mixture of the exciting rollercoaster and more cultural and sacred Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor was quite unique in the world. There was an exhibition room, where you could also see the evolution of various attractions in different generations. The park was obviously unknown to the Asian tourists; that make me feel like a true foreigner in that area.
  • Amazing place. The church is small but very beautiful because of a lot of embellishment. View is spectacular at the whole Barcelona and around smaller cities.
  • Quite a few of the rides were closed but we knew tgis would be the case as we visited out of season. Worth getting the ticket with rides for inly a few more euros. Excellent views over the city.
