  • A ride in the cable car for the opportunity to see Barcelona from a different perspective. Get up there, don't hesitate to visit the castle that immerses you in another time. What you should remember: beautiful spot for photos and passing by the Museum of art downhill walk.

  • It is nice to do this once, excellent view. If you have trouble walking, this is the best way to the castle then.  more »
  • From the top of the hill there are a few great views of Barcelona and the harbour. Nevertheless the views are often blockes by trees. The ride up (and down) is short and in my opinion too expensive, t...  more »

  • Great views of Barcelona. It was €12.50 for a return ticket across which wasn't bad considering you could get off and explore the castle at the top of the mountain before hopping back on. It was a very comfortable, relaxing ride. I would recommend going up to Montjuïc if you are visiting the city for the first time, as the sights are spectacular.
  • You have to wait in long queue even if you buy online tickets with people buying tickets at the spot
  • €8 for a 5 minute ride the hillside (or €12 return) - the biggest ripoff we experienced over a week long stay in Barcelona. We walked back down in less than 10 minutes. If you have even moderate fitness just walk up, its not even steep. The fort at the top is definitely worth the €5 entry though
  • Easier than walking up to the top and it offers great views. Unfortunately the windows were scratched and dirty but still an enjoyable ride.
  • “Beautiful views and a great walk” This is really good, after getting to the top there is a great walk around to see the many different views of the city and the port, there's a restaurant up there and even an archery club. It' a great leisurely stroll around the top, I loved it and have got a great appreciation of Barcelona.
