  • The hospital complex of the early 20th century. the century, which is the work of architect on behalf of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, now a Museum and cultural center. From Sagrada Familia it is about 1 km and no problems there can be reached on foot from the Cathedral. The area is largely corrected with several exhibitions devoted to the construction of the hospital and its operations. The area is fairly large with the possibility of sitting in a park on the courtyard, architecture, beautiful. Compared to the Cathedral is the former Hospital tourists ignored, which is for those who are down there, rather an advantage. Definitely worth a visit.

  • This former Hospital has been my heart of Barcelona. Recommended by our guide when visiting the Palace of music, I was not disappointed. It is truly the most beautiful example of the Spanish modernism with the Palace of music. It is located 5 minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia then don't miss out on.

  • A special and recommended short stop, five minutes walk from Sagrada Familia.
  • Overlooked beauty of collection of renovated hospital buildings in Catalan modernist architectural style
  • Impressionant, val la pena visitar-ho!
  • This used to be a hospital? Is what I kept asking myself. At the end of Avenida de Gaudi is this UNESCO World Heritage site and it's not surprising. It's so well planned that one of the many beautiful rooms has a direct view of the cathedral too... The exterior and interiors are so beautiful and unlike other places in Barcelona, it's not too crowded with tourists so you can really enjoy it and take postcard perfect pictures. Some parts are still under restoration but much of it is complete and well worth going!
  • Beautiful architecture, historic and not crowded at all.
