  • It is in the most beautiful part of Barcelona, where it is also the Palace of the Generalitat and the headquarters of the Government of Catalonia

  • The building was the Church of a monastery that is located in the area where now is the Plaza de San Jaime, and was trasladaado piece by piece to the current location. It has a large altar that belonged to the Cathedral and also was transferred to the parish church in the 1950s.

  • Located near the "Basilica de Santa Maria del Pi". I visited and with "Jacob's Church of the Holy Apostles" and the name for the person who made a pilgrimage to the santeirego and I like going into the Holy Communion visits. This church was built in 1391.

  • Muy bonito lugar. Vale la pena visitar.
  • Walking along Carrer Ferran I found this church, which passes almost unnoticed because it is not ostentatious. It is embedded between buildings full of shops of all kinds, bars, etc. On the inside is quite simple, no frills.

  • In the parish of St. James is located for a time the community of the Lamb, nuns who care for people in need, live in great humility, in fact if we go can inform us of your lifestyle. It is no longer a conventional parish without that it does not want to say not to do these functions or even more... It is a joy to see liturgical celebrations, songs that invite contemplation and cozy Temple. The origin of the Church is a converted Jews of the 14th century finaIes synagogue, still the door. In 1529 it passed into the hands of the order of the Trinitarians which raised the ship closest to the street party in decadent Gothic. In 1819 it extends with the transept and apses, also Gothic. After leaving her Trinitarian becomes a parish and is remodeled by Oriol Mestres. It is a church with a curious elements, for example the altarpiece is the ancient altarpiece of the Cathedral, work of the 15th century, which was transferred to this church in 1970. It has a beautiful chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, it tends to be closed quite a while though. Many saints that attract much are worshipped in this temple, we can see long queues in the days of their naming: San Blas, San Expédito, San Judas Tadeo... Another curiosity is the float representing the Temple of the Sagrada Familia of Gaudi and which is carried in the procession of the Andalusian dew. In this church the brotherhood of our Lady of Sorrows, we can see it in one of the chapels, lately has been restored. Every Friday get around 7 pm. of this church and is followed with enough devotion. In short, highly recommended to visit this church for all the above reasons.
