  • Renaissance town hall and the Gothic Barcelona Plaça because autonomous Government is facing the square in a visit to the Gothic quarter, because if you think it is worth enough to be worthwhile places.

  • Great place central to many attractions. Near Las Rambles, crowded with locals and tourists. Beautiful architecture.
  • In full Gothic quarter, just behind the Cathedral, the Plaza opens wide, which gives access to every corner to visit in the old town. The two strict palaces of the Generalitat and the Ajuntament face each other on the two long sides. Is often the scene of small exhibitions and events

  • Loved the view of the square. There is a couple of coffee shops that you can stop by. Beautiful part of Barcelona.
  • It's where the BARCELONA'S AJUNTAMENT is located. A very big and nice Plaça, close to the cathedral.
  • One of countless beautiful places in Barcelona. Architectural very interesting.
  • Just the next square down Placa de Sant Jaume is Placa de Sant Miquel, just behind the Ajuntament de Barcelona stands an odd monument, depicting Catalunya’s national sport: Castelles. It’s the art of building human castles which today can go up as high as 10 levels of humans with absolutely zero support. This culture is so unique that it is even included in UNESCO's Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. This particular art installation showcase the highest Castelles ever attempted. This have my brain going in circles trying to imagine the human feat of going up that high with just human beings.
  • Spectacular place for doing photography and just soak it all in with its beautiful architecture.
