Passeig del Born, Barcelona

(220+ reviews on the web)
Historic Walking Area Landmark
The cafes of Passeig del Born teem with activity day and night. The Born Market lies at one end of the neighborhood's pedestrian walkway. Start your tour there to stroll the stalls, then make your way up the passage. The architecture on the walkway retains a medieval grandeur from a bygone Barcelona, and the shading from the tall trees in the center gives it a romantic ambience. At the end of the pedestrian path is the church of Santa Maria del Mar, where musicians play on the steps and couples stop to take in the scenery. Use our Barcelona tour planner to arrange your visit to Passeig del Born and other attractions in Barcelona.

  • Stopped here on a whim. The tapas were good. I liked the Russian salad a lot, and my wife enjoyed her meatball casserole of five meatballs in a beef vegetable broth. The best thing we had was "The Bomba" a fried potato ball surrounding flavorful meat with two delicious sauces
  • Nice range of olives and some tapas. Beer good, but some smells in bar.
  • Nice staff and reasonably priced
  • Great food, worth the price.
  • Spinich salad and potato omlet are great!
