An amazing Park. I was always too lazy to go the distance, but the metro to the side and it's a beautiful park to visit. On Sundays is free, other days 2.30 per person

Very nice garden for relaxing. Steep place, you will have to climb to get there! A few tourists (especially french) you won't be any similarly alone. Ideal for photos.

What a nice place where to walk away from the bustle of the city. The setting is welcoming and refreshing in the summer in the shade of Oaks and pines all with the Mediterranean fragrance of these trees. Throughout the ride and the detour of small nooks you can admire the small fountains and statues. The maze is friendly and you spend a nice time with the children even if it is small enough. A little corner of paradise, well served by the metro including but once out of the station, it is better to have his GPS! To do it without hesitation

  • This was really fun!! More challenging than I expected and I really enjoyed the story that you were looking for love in the center of the labyrinth, ie a statue of cupid. The statue is in a clearing in the center with lots of benches so you can relax for a little bit in the shade. The sun is brutal trying to work the labyrinth. The clearing is a circle with 8 or so paths, one of the paths you just came from. You have to retrace your steps to exit because the other ones lead to dead ends. The rest of the park is very beautiful with roses and ponds. Great place to spend a day and very cheap admission, around 2 euros
  • Beautiful Italianate garden on the edge of Barcelona! The most beautiful neoclassical garden I've visited in Spain. Designed around 1800 by an Italian designer and it's very well maintained. It has a year-round flowing artificial stream which is gorgeous. Highly recommended if you need some tranquility. Only crowded near the laberinth. Free on Wednesdays and Sundays.
  • Quiet area to spend a relaxing day. The park is historically rich and larger than it appears. Bring yourself some drinks and food to have a picnic in one of the many park benches.
  • Nice escape from the busy city in a greenish and quite surrounding. As a hint the Labyrinth is open to the public on Sundays for free.
  • It´s always an extraordinary experience to try and find the way out of the labyrinth. A picnic would go nice as well.

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
