Park unfortunately bad care, full of uncivil people, with a smell of urine and human eces pulling back, perfect place to steal clueless tourists who are quietly lie down in the grass over stands stools that owners guarreras decide to leave as fertilizer. Remains of cans bags handbags stolen x, in summer gives quite creepy if it were not because I live near certainly would not come to stroll in here and less in summer. It is a pity because the Park is nice.

Nice Park to integrate in the Barcelona urban life especially if you have dog even if they do not have no matter if you have a desire to defecate. It is a pity. The best is the municipal gymnasium and its people although some time is more dangerous than a meeting of followers of Eduardo Manostijeras jihadists. To see if they fix it, they educate those who have dog, drops a meteorite and the monkeys become men.

We had a chance to see the park twice when leaving and arriving at the train station. Had a chance to see the dragon playground as well as the towers lining to park. If I lived here it would be a grea...  more »

  • A nice relaxing park. Looked like a great place to bring children, as there were lots of children running around. Just a relaxing, laid back atmosphere in general. When I visited, there was a free concert happening here. So that was a nice touch.
  • Great public park near the railway station. Many people go there with their dogs to play, or are doing sports like basketball. Really nice in the shade of the trees.
  • Lovely park just next to Sants train station. Free WiFi through the park, dog friendly, but usually not very peaceful or quiet. It's always pretty busy.
  • The most interesting public space I've encountered. Massive sculpture doubles as kids slide. Water feature and walks blend seamlessly with public games areas.
  • Is one of the nicer parks to be in, nevertheless, do not stay here till too late, you could get locked down and to have to exit literally jumping the fences.

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
