  • It's a regular park, perfect if there's a sunny day or if you want to have a sandwich there. You could walk freely. Better not to go in the evenings (homless,)  more »
  • We stayed near this park; in March 2017 a part was under renovation. This is a park frequented by local people, especially for walking dogs. Very interesting the Wisteria covering a shed. Particular the sculpture Dona i Ocell.

  • Parc de Joan Miró is situated near the plate Spain and next to the commercial centre of sands, old square of bulls. This Park is bounded by Tarragona, Aragon, Vilamari and Diputació streets. This Park is known as the Parc de L'escorxador, since its grounds were beside the old Municipal slaughterhouse. It was remodeled in 1983. In later works, in 2006 was built a big underground water tank, a parking lot and a large green area. Today, again, a refurbishment is being done to make a center of municipal cleaning. It was given the name of Joan Miró by placing the sculpture made by him, the Dona i Ocell' L. It is coated with ceramic artificial stone. It is 20,22 meters high by 5.29 metres width. This sculpture is located near the confluence of Tarragona and Aragón streets. In the rest of the park there are trees of different types: pines, Palm trees, Oaks, eucalyptus trees, cypresses, etc. It is spacious and there is place for walking, children's playground and a library that bears the name of Joan Miró. Nice and quiet for a time, inside a city park.

  • My 3.5 year old son had a great time in the various areas. Big open space with swings, climbing activities and other fun things for toddlers to play with. 30 minutes time and your infant or toddler will be exhausted. It's also very convenient to tourist attractions so when you need your loved ones to burn off some energy bring them here!
  • Very big, open space with many trees and also many facilities for children to play. It's so nice. Rate 4 because at night had seen people doing not so nice things there, but inspite of that is beautiful
  • Great park with nice playground areas for children. There are special places for dogs.
  • A little green paradise hidden in an area of mass cityscape. The livelihood and tranquility are instantly enhanced once entered.
  • Grassy spot to chill out, raining when i was there sadly... ill b back in summer with a few tins
