  • The Forum is one of the shames of Barcelona. Place where not known that make that you served to boost a neighborhood even at the cost to residents from their homes. Here particularly there was nothing. There is now a (Diagonal Mar, very zen) Mall, an Esplanade to do concerts, but that is far from all. Displaying the list of guests to the Forum of cultures gives us the jiggling (they could have invited Hitler but had not lodged not by lack of education if not for being dead, of being alive sure that had invited it) but you can expect from those who organize a urban hit on the pretext of arranging the world and then not bother to try to implement the conclusions of the debate there if not do all otherwise. Yes, it is nice but I would not put me near anything that may fall. And is ephemeral because it has PT that the day has to restore it will come the machines and pulled it down.

  • Known as the first Forum of cultures (year 2004). Near the coast. Built by the architect Jacques Herzog and Pierre Meuron. It is worth visiting.

  • An esplanade of asphalt with Playground closed, barriers everywhere, a place that looks abandoned alli 11.00 in the morning. One nice thing about the london bus style street food. One can see the Pavilion of climbing and you hear music coming from the Marina ... only positive note the Museum * (externally questionable). If you are looking for a park for children, if this is the meaning of your search enter the Mall!

  • Was here for the "La Merce" festival. Saw some great bands here, it's located near a metro stop. If you're American, if you buy a beer keep the cup they refill it.
  • I love coming here to escape from the crowded city, it's usually pretty quiet during the weekdays and it's a cool place to take pictures of the minimalist architecture. However if you are only here for a few days there are better things to visit.
  • Nice venue next to the beach. Went there for Primavera Sound, spent 4 days walking miles and miles. The venue is very spacious and has many different area's to enjoy various activities and live music when an event is held
  • Awesome venue for DGTL festival. Everything about it was cool, loads of food stalls and re-usable cups!
  • Big/huge space for any kind of activities.... and great place to swim when they finish the maintenance tasks.

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
