  • a great and pleasant surprise this market. every first weekend of the month in a former factory renovated with much taste and green takes this market where street food sees of caravans and camping-cars 40 years refurbished and adapted, great design with vintage reissues stalls and live music all day! online tickets costing €3 while €4 on site, I recommend you buy them in advance to avoid the queue

  • This is a great little market, with artisans products, a bit like a local community fair. It's in a closed space, beautiful building and with a lot of food trucks so its easy to eat and drink. Live music is played and it's great to hear young artists and good djs, the music is smooth. A good day spent...enjoy. a bit pricy and with a crowd but overall, its good.
  • Fancy market. Excellent food corners, with a wide range of options! Live music! Strongly recommend!
  • Great market in a really nice location. Lots of food, artisan stalls and local made things, everything from shoes to t-shirts and jewellery. To avoid queue, buy tickets online.
  • Surprisingly beautiful venue with amazing gardens and buildings. The shops are all high quality, mostly selling things they have made themselves. Food is great and varied, and the gardens where you have the food in are just amazing
  • Super cool market. You have to pay an entrance fee (beforehand on the Internet 3€, otherwise 4€) but it's worth it! Awesome, small businesses from Barcelona, that sell their stuff. Super food and drinks (prices very good).

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
