  • Beautiful private collection with many interesting exhibits by all dynasties good cross section. Great photo exhibition by the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun by Carter. Partial explanation boards, unfortunately not in German, sometimes even only in Catalan. Centrally located, right next to the shopping area.

  • The Egyptian Museum of Barcelona is a small treasure worth visiting, since both the space and the collection of Egyptian art from the Mr Clos, are very interesting and your effort collector deserves all my respect, because as owner of museums such as the Palau Dalmases and Parc Sama, I know about the effort involved in maintaining the space While prepares educational programs and generated content. I love the contrast between the modern interior of the building, more functional, with the important ancient Egyptian collection showing, since it creates a relaxed atmosphere and infornal, perfect to go with a group of friends, and away from some museums that well being spectacular, create an image of elitism that hinders their access. Excellent work that the team from the Egyptian Museum makes every day.

  • What am interesting place something different to do in Barcelona, spend some time wandering around thousands of years of Egyptian history... Right in the heart of the city you will find this gem hiding away it's certainly worth a look.....
  • Small museum with a ridiculously priced gift shop. Some very interesting artifacts packed into 3 floors. Nice clean restroom too :)
  • One of good museums that i visited. 3 floors and in every one of them you have a lot of interesting stuff to see, you can buy an application code for audio records, but i think it will be the same as reading it if you have time, if not application work very well A+++, Museum very clean and all glass are clean so you can catch on picture every part and read every thing as well. Not expensive and worth it!
  • Very interesting museum, a must see.
  • Totally loved this Egyptian Museum

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
