  • We schedule a family visit in Barcelona, that we consider the best Museum of art of the ancient Egypt in Spain recently. It has made us a pleasant impression, and we recommend his visit by the variety of parts, its careful description, select presentation, decoration and competence of the personnel in charge. Barcelona can boast of having a worthy representative, a prestigious varied and detailed display of history and Egyptian archaeology.

  • Museum but maintained and absolutely interesting. Beautiful locations! It is not comparable obviously to other Egyptian museums like the one in Turin but is well structured and fully appreciates what it exposes. Also suitable for children and teenagers ... we would like to recommend it even for the kindness and hospitality of the staff.

  • I would describe this as a boutique museum with very high quality pieces going back to more than 1500 BC. The description are also in English for the permanent collection. It's worth at least an hour....  more »

  • Nice and interesting museum. The temporary exhibitions are extraordinary and very updated. Permanent collection shows a classic work-of-art exhibit, it's interesting by itself because represents a history of Museology.
  • A treasure trove! So unassuming from the street, with so much to discover inside. Perhaps not what you go looking for in Barcelona but this is worth the visit.
  • Small museum that's enjoyable for those who have never been to Egypt and don't know much about the ancient times.
  • I really liked this small and manageable museum. Quite educational and enjoyable.
  • interesting. worth a visit if you have time or on a rainy day
