  • I was very excited to learn more about Egyptian culture but I quickly became disillusioned. The Museum is very (too) classic. No interaction, only of objects with their 3 small floors information leaflets. The tower is made of 1H - 1H 30 (by dragging beaucouuup before each object). Expected sometimes more explanation especially when one knows not the topic on the tips of the fingers. Also, an entire floor is entirely in catalan. Not even in English... So, I find that this is not worth the 11 euro for the price of admission. The mini Museum of the castle of Montjuïc costs 6 euro, it is very interactive and we learn much more than anything (in this case about the city of Barcelona and its history). For these reasons, I would not recommend this museum.

  • Well laid out collection of Egyptian artefacts properly interpreted and accessible (to those of us who read neither Spanish or Catalonian). One curator (?) was slightly 'officious' - 'hovering' perhap...  more »
  • It seems small at first but it has a great collection; it took us almost 2 hours to see everything. Very interesting. We loved it.

  • Nice and interesting museum. The temporary exhibitions are extraordinary and very updated. Permanent collection shows a classic work-of-art exhibit, it's interesting by itself because represents a history of Museology.
  • A treasure trove! So unassuming from the street, with so much to discover inside. Perhaps not what you go looking for in Barcelona but this is worth the visit.
  • Small museum that's enjoyable for those who have never been to Egypt and don't know much about the ancient times.
  • I really liked this small and manageable museum. Quite educational and enjoyable.
  • interesting. worth a visit if you have time or on a rainy day
