This museum is a private collection, which, according to the Museum's caretaker and part-time salesperson for a long time to collect the family store owner. A collection is a set of all sorts did not bother me and bottles, bubbles and bottles. My wife, as a passionate amateur of perfume, was delighted to retrace the history of form and design of bottles of her favorite brand. Absolutely no one not look behind you; You can spend your time as you wish in this museum. This is useful for several reasons: 1. The Museum is cool, and it's a break from the hot sun of Spain. 2. People don't have. You can relax from the hustle and rush. 3. toilet is included in the ticket price. He, of course, to the staff, as they told us, but no one denies his visit. 4. Photo tolerated close to the exhibits and with Flash. No one works on your nerves and you don't have to buy anything. So it was with us. If the store seller will be speaking, tickets you very likely sell at a discount, as if you have the Barcelona Card is such a bonus for her. With regard to store perfume, it has free wi-fi, and nothing prevents you know the price you are interested in perfume. It is very convenient, especially if you encounter a rare brand or flavor.

I'm going to be completely honest, I did know of the existence of this place, for a tourist bus brochure advertising. We were with my friend walking by Passeig de Gracia, and by chance I noticed that we were at the door of the Museum according to the brochure, which indicated but had a perfume... We enter to ask, and one of the employees of the shop told us that if that back was indeed at the Museum... we pay our entrance, which I understand is more a contribution to the maintenance of the place, and beyond that the two are lovers of perfumes, enjoyed a very comprehensive exhibition of perfume containers ranging from antiquisimos times to the present day. By perfume vials, thousands of anecdotes from our childhood, adolescence came us to mind and also now that we are two adults. We enjoyed it a lot, as we also devote special attention to the book signed by different perfumers and designers. We left very satisfied both. As critical constructive would be good that are not together mercii containers, as that may look more, and also include a small review on the history of the different companies and perfumes in if. I don't know if calling this place the Perfume Museum, is perhaps a little pretentious as it is now, but display, sample collection, I think it looks better and ensure that people have expectations in place. I recommend it for people that likes perfumes and is fairly conocedera.

This was located very close to our hotel, so we stopped in to check it out. Although there is certainly an impressive array of perfumes and cosmetics inside, they are all things that are for sale...mo...  more »

  • €5 to just to see a collection of perfume. Not even a word of explanation at the different perfumes. Certainly not the effort to visit.

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
