  • The collections are not among the most important European museums devoted to musical instruments but include exceptional specimens like these two Hamburg harpsichords of the 18th century CC Fleischer and Christian Zell. One can regret the somewhat reduced lighting and sometimes hard to read notices, but in total the tour is interesting and gives a beautiful panorama of European instrument (as well as other cultures, which are not my field).

  • Recommended by Catalan friends I was with my wife in this particular museum with a large collection of musical instruments, basically traces its history and shows how we evolved the music up to the present day. Very nice decor (feels like a theater) and pleasant small classical guitar concert concluding the visit.

  • This museum can be interesting for people who are passionate about music. Still, I think there is very little explanation in the exhibitors

  • Modern and cozy Museum where to enjoy an infinity of musical instruments of the ages and around the world. Models and interactive make the visit very attractive to large and small. They also have educational activities for children that will help them to enter this world. It is next to the Auditorium, so it can be used to visit the Museum, and then go to a concert.
