  • The Museum is easily accessible by subway if a little eccentric. The entrance is very affordable even full price (€ 6 for the permanent exhibition). However, the visit is very average for several reasons. To start the sound and light atmosphere is quite oppressive, it's very dark and the little blue light coming down from the ceiling is annoying (especially with glasses). The ladle, I would say that the right upper corner of the half of interactive screens of the first part of the tour, doesn't chance it's the or it is possible to change the language (Spanish, catalan, English) and close the videos that can be the NCER, it reduces a little interest. You can read a lot of comments on the fact that it's great to go with children. I confirm it of a giant nursery, if you really want to enjoy an undeniable interest in this Museum, go one day in week or weather!

  • Not bad. I think that it is a museum which is well worth a short visit, whether you like it or not the natural sciences has things that might well entertained and have a good time with your partner or else in family by some interactive games that has. I that I am passionate about science can tell you that this museum is well structured and its approach is dedicated to explain the basic and essential aspects of the Sciences of the Earth and other aspects of the natural sciences, which if you like to learn and immerse yourself in This scene no doubt that reading here you will learn and much, and then there are representations of animals, different types of stones, etc. A plus is that free move Sunday after 3 pm so it is highly recommended.

  • We visited the Museu Blau with our almost 7 years. We started with exposure time dedicated to Oceans and its inhabitants: through video in 3D offers the underwater vision of all the species that inhabit our seas; very very effective, especially the kids are ecstatic. The rest of the Museum offers a part called "vida" that offers a journey into the evolution of the Earth, from the creation to the present, a sort of biography, passing through the big bang, galaxies, planets, the formation of the continents and the evolution of the species. The areas are divided into minerals and rocks, Animals, plants, flowers, mushrooms and in each area there are shrines with various specimens of all species (and also some reproductions). Very interesting, especially for children of school age who can begin to become aware of arguments in their little will begin to address already in elementary school, such as science and geography. Our son thoroughly enjoyed the part on the rocks and the formation of the Earth's crust and lots of minerals. Even the cases with all animal species are notable, especially in terms of education. There is a cloakroom with lockers to lock, toilet and a small gift shop. The Museum is located in the strategic area of the Forum, easily accessible by metro or tram. In the summer you also enjoy a nice walk along the bike path that goes up to Barceloneta, crowded especially on weekends with families with children, young people on bicycles and runners.

  • It's a great museum of natural history and Sundays are great for families with children. They offer many activities for kids of all ages, even the very little ones. My 2 year old daughter really like to go and play with all the activities offered to kids.
  • Enjoyed our visit but please provide a visible floor plan or proactive signage for first time visitors. We spent a lot of time unnecessarily in the informative but lacklustre Oceans exhibit and didn't come across the extensive and really interesting collections until we were leaving... Only had ten minutes to race through this huge and enticing area. Getting on the plane today, and don't know when we will have time to come back and visit that part. The building architecture and external cladding are really interesting and provided us with many wonderful photos. Too bad we didn't learn anything about the building. Barcelona, please provide more info to visitors about your fantastic architecture and architectural design. Joan Miró gallery had much information about the building design - a good model to follow so that visitors can learn as well as look.
  • It's known as the blue museum, for obvious reasons! The Natural Sciences Museum in Barcelona is a stunning building, but the visitor experience is a grim, piss streaked forecourt, with awful signposting. See photo. What my late father would have called "spoiling the ship for a happ'orth of tar"!
  • Second time in this museum and it is never enough. Exposition is well organized with a lot of information. Will be interesting for children and adults.
  • OK to spend a couple of hours here especially if it's raining, never seen so many stuffed animals/ birds etc. Pretty standard museum.
