  • The thing is that I was there on a business dinner, I only visited the restaurant. It's a sad fact, but that's how it goes during business trips. But. The restaurant served such a great dinner and had...  more »
  • This museum is very well made and describes the history of Catalonia from prehistory to the present day. Not think it imperative on a first visit to Barcelona as it requires at least 1 hour to visit quickly and there are other things to do. The entrance costs 5 euros. It has free Wi-Fi.

  • This is a very nice, informative and interactive museum. It has all the explanations in English and is especially interesting if you want to learn about the history of Catalonia. The visit can be very long, there is a lot to see. There is a lovely but a bit pricey restaurant in the rooftop, which has an amazing view.
  • Great museum, very interactive and lots of visuals and life size displays. The English translations lack in parts, but it is manageable. THE BEST PART IS THERE IS AN AWSOME ROOFTOP BAR WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS OF PORT VELL. Worth 4.50€ in my books
  • It introduces you to the history of catalunya by specific details since prehistoric times. It makes you fall in love with this city and its people. Though it may require at least 2 hours of your time if you want to stop and read the deacriptions written. As you read more, you feel yourself indulged into the timelines and you can imagine the events happening as if you were there. You can go there by metro to Barceloneta station. It's a 5 minute walk from the station, and the entrance fee is very cheap, around 5€ Beware if you do not know english, spanish or catalan. Otherwise it would be a boring experience, and you wouldn't understand anything.
  • This museum was great, very informative on the history of Catalunya starting in prehistoric times. The only problem was that the artifacts didn't have english captions. (The explanations always included english though). The museum had some fun interactive parts, like climbing a horse dressed in medieval costume and putting on knight armour, and so it is suitable for children as well.
  • A great overview of the Catalonian past and its connections with Aragon and Castile. Tells the story how modern Spain came to be as well. Good use of technology, though a lack of translated signs and boards was irritating. Well-worth the cheap ticket if you are into history (spent a good 3,5h there).
