  • This beautiful and ancient square surrounded by listed buildings was designed for a few decades respecting the discovery of the sacra via and making it visible from the surrounding area. In addition, there is an interesting interpretation centre on the Roman roads and the funerary customs of the time. The Romans were forbidden for hygienic reasons bury their dead within the city, so it used the surroundings of the routes of entry such as cemeteries, this site is a sample.

  • The first time I saw the Roman tombs was by chance in January 1967, then went back to Barcelona with my daughters and cost me find them until we stopped some nuns and they gave us the address and lately e returned to Barcelona and with a tourist guide I returned them to locate, obviously it is not the main attraction but since far 1967 have been me engraved in my mind, and this time make them the most and taken photo from all angles to have it present it will be like Italian feel the call of the Roman past, I recommend to see it as a reminder of the grandeur of Rome.

  • With your admission ticket to the MUHBA you can visit this tiny Museum which will inform you on how to bury the men in Roman times and the various Roman roads built at that time. Alternatively, you can also observe the gravestones and the remains of a Roman road from the Park above.
