  • The plate of Sant Pere was a quiet space to be in the neighborhood. The gentrification of the area and increase the supply has given life to the plaza that opens in front of this building.

  • In a stay in BCN, in front of the hotel, monastery, which we could not avoid was this wonderful visit. It is located in the area of Sarriá. It is a community of Benedictine nuns. The background of the monastery consists of documentation on paper, parchments and cantonal. They offer hospice services. The built complex has a special charisma, which gives it a distinct sobriety. His Church, with access directly, and especially interesting the ascent to the belfry to watch Barcelona bird's-eye view is interesting. Visit interesting.

  • Through the website we inform you that took place the last Saturday of each month a guided visit to this monastery and went this weekend. The person who made us the visit despite do so altruistically was very knowledgeable of the history of the monastery and of truth that was very didactic, enriquecededora and entertaining. Had one duration of more or less than an hour and half but we had very short and helped us to get to know the history of this monastery run by wet them Benedictine from century x Os I recommend this visit which also has the incentive to climb the Bell Tower from which you can enjoy a view of the city of Barcelona in 360 degrees do not fail to go not you regret

  • Hermosas calles en este barrio.
  • It is a church that does not have the popularity of other tourist but that worth a visit, already outside is a joy with the square and charming neighborhood of San Pedro. The Church has a long history, which is explained in this website. However it seems that a restoration was not to the liking of everyone, Cirici Periller in Barcelona has pam Pam that the façade was restored in 1911 "by the ignorant restaurateur Eduard Mercader" and "only retains the interest of the Gothic portal" the Church, at least the day that I visited, has much light by what it costs something to observe and view their details , especially the paintings. It has an apse of the 15th century and highlights the Corinthian capitals of the 10th century. It struck me an image of the Virgen de los Dolores was carried in procession on Friday before Easter, as it was tradition. Generally the images of this parish are quite large and beautiful. But best of all is the feeling get to be inside a building where mysticism, peace and history come together. Recommended.
