Mercat de la Barceloneta, Barcelona

(4.3/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Soak up some Barcelona culture by diving into the atmosphere of Mercat de la Barceloneta, a huge draw for both impassioned foodies and architecture enthusiasts. The market occupies a modern building constructed of glass and steel and serves as a major landmark in one of Barcelona's most colorful neighborhoods. Inside is the usual setup of vegetable and meat stalls, as well as several sit-down eateries where you can rest and grab a warm meal. Although safe and friendly, the market gets extremely busy during lunchtime, so it's a good idea to leave your personal items at the hotel. • Manageable prices, fresh food, great smoothies for 1-2€ and in different variations :) perfect for a lunch among other things :) you can sit down at some booths and gets served among other fresh fish! Just great! It is worth to take a small break in the La Rambla and to look at this great market Hall

  • Any hungry will find something for everyone, and the place is not artificially created an attraction for tourists, and the real market for won't meet. Do not worry about the lack of language proficiency-at most a little more tired hands.
