  • Cheese and cheap meats, bakery, it is one post with very good takeaway food (salad, croquettes, tortilla, etc.) and other positions for cheap here. We ate very well at 4 for 20 or 25 euros, Cava included.

  • We went in July and when we arrived almost went back to back, almost all the stalls were closed because of the holiday. But we did find a few open stalls and buy fruits, cheeses and hams wonderful, recommend it to anyone who goes to shopping, not only to look. I imagine in other months with all the open stalls must be sensational

  • A cosy market Hall. Quiet but there are lots of things to get. If you can cook like fish and this is your chance. Through countless stalls with vegetables, fruit, eggs, etc back to wander.

  • Not bad - local experience - good selection of groceries. There's also an OK selection of ready to eat food.
  • I buy almost all my groceries here. Suuuuper nice vendors. Careful to pick ones that match your price range - there are a couple insanely expensive organic booths - but once you make friends with your very own chicken lady, patronizing your local mercat really starts to pay off. Just respect "el último" system, okay?
  • You know la Boqueria? Well this one is less turistic, chaotic and cheaper. Products are obviously of great quality!
  • Our local market, full of great stalls - the bakery staff are really lovely and have great bread! Go just before lunchtime closing hours to get good deals on fish and seafood.
  • Less touristy and cheaper prices. Great vibe.
