  • Work of El Salvador Valeri i Pupurull, architect much less known than the dazzle, this façade trilogy worth a look. It is worthy of Gaudí with its flamboyant style. This building is not open to the visit. It is located a few steps from the crossroads of the Passeig de Gracia with avenida Diagonal.

  • Building with amazing architecture, which has two completely different facades. The front facade has a more classical style, and the facade on the street back has a more modern style. It's worth stopping by to enjoy.

  • Modernist building of the arch. Salvador Valeri.ano 1911. Of great artistic value. Polychromy and of great beauty. Venetian blinds facing the Sardinia Street are very original. His goal of AV. Diagonal is beautiful of much artistic value.

  • A House with a double personality, of the main façade, most Nouveau-inspired, almost a fairy tale; and from behind, Asian influences ialb. In building with two faces ... one art nouveau and the other with asian Paral influences. It's magic!

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
