La Barceloneta, Barcelona
(4.2/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
To hit up the beaches that help make the city so beloved, head to La Barceloneta. Dip into the Mediterranean at this stretch of sand, which earned mention the second book of Don Quixote. Traditionally the fisherman’s quarter, the neighborhood still serves up fresh seafood in its abundant restaurants. Stroll along the boardwalk, watch the surfers, or stop for a glass of wine at one of the many beachside bars. Make sure you also check out two landmarks: Rebecca Horn's "Homenatge a la Barceloneta" monument and Frank Gehry's "Peix d'Or" sculpture. • Barceloneta is the most coastal zone, so it is a good place for a stroll, see the piece yachts that are spent in the area, see the beaches... There is a fairly large shopping centre which, if I remember correctly, called Mare Magnum. Still, with all that Barcelona has to visit, this does not seem far one of the indispensable. It is if you are in the area or if you have time on your journey, but not to go by the way.

  • It is a nice place to walk both day and night, and tapas or dinner. However, he had another expectation about what I had been told. Is a place of walk as many, and really not I called much the attention.

  • Is a luar with restaurants gourmet, some shops faces, all oriented to the tourist. Personally that type of tourism do not is of my pleasure but must recognize that the place is very attractive.
