  • Lovely walk up through the park, not suitable if you have walking problems. We did this gallery after the National art museum. Check to see if fountains are operational- sadly not on our visit.  more »

  • If only get to see one place when visiting Barcelona, this has to be it. Classiest museum you’ll ever go to in Europe if not the world. Unique works with great crowd control. The restaurant was reasonable and superb. Was very relaxing, a vacation from our hectic, jam packed “vacation”.
  • Inspiring and liberating to see his work. As an artistic person it is great to see that one doesn’t have to be perfect to produce great works of art. Miro was really ahead of his time. The gallery is definitely worth the visit. Montjuic is also gorgeous.
  • Like him or hate him, Miró is an artist that manages to stir the feelings of the most jaded of museum visitors. The exhibited art follows the artist's path from his beginnings to his demise. There's something there for everyone. Some you like, some you love, some you dislike and others you hate. Remember to keep it light and fun, just like the artist wanted his art to be. Don't let all this art make you forget the building. Go to the open terrace and admire.
  • How could you possibly get enough Joan Miro? Go here. I don't think this shows up on most tours. There is a bus stop here and we used the excellent mass transit in Barcelona.
  • Pleasant way to escape the hubbub of the city. Interesting and thought-provoking works of art. Great location looking over the city, with a well-stocked and reasonably priced cafe and a terrace to relax in.
