  • But be careful in the best sense of the word. Œuvres sincere and without deductions of emotions childish, pure and whole. Everybody at loved then not always at the same time, but what a beautiful collection. The temporary presentation is very nice also. A nice visit in a beautiful building perfect and after a bit of Geocaching perfect

  • Miro is still very fascinating - his designs are still up to date, and some of his works are just to be bought, if I had the money  more »
  • You can admire many works for Milo! Come with the Picasso Museum and set ~! There are many cute souvenir corner items!

  • OMG is this place amazing. There's so much more to Miro than most people would think, going here puts it on display. Nicely curated, well laid-out. And it's in a beautiful park-like area.
  • Very interesting place. I knew nothing of Miro but found it very interesting even though I did not appreciate his style. Really felt I understood the man by the tine I left. Cafe was really nice and inexpensive
  • Great fun. Highly recommend if you are in the city. Building is quite beautiful. Would go again. On site cafe is over-priced.
  • One of if not the best art galleries I've ever visited. Jaw-dropping. Tour takes about an hour. You must like contemporary, modern or non-representational art.
  • Heads up users of Google Map. The app sent me to La Rambla, costing me an hour of travel time on the metro. I was determined, however, to see the works of this great Spanish painter and made the track up Monjuic. Was I ever glad. Not only the art but the location delivered in spades

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
