  • For those who love modern art is a unique experience but also for art lovers in General is really interesting. Museum kept, with a very nice terrace overlooking the city and where there are works by the artist. Drop by if you have time and you won't be disappointed

  • A very wide variety of Miro, a painter we finally know little in France, or only through his surreal pre-war period; However, his works from the 1960s are very different that it further assigning them to Cy Twombly to Miro. Recent large paintings are full or counting, either of force and violence. The building itself is very well suited to receive such a collection and is a reason to visit in itself.

  • Not our cup of tea. But loved by fellow travelers who like very modern art. Well organized to trace Miro's life. Was disappointed that nothing in the museum resembled the Miro pedestrian walkway in do...  more »

  • I would recommend getting the excellent audio guide to help you navigate through this musuem. For the average people, it is a whole new world of abstract art. I find it very difficult to understand or relate to most of the artworks. It was challenging and provoking. You are not going to see beautiful paintings here.
  • Great place where you can learn something new about Joan Miró, check his sculptures and paintings. Downstairs there are also two shops with books and really nice designed souvenirs.
  • The museum was build in 1970s but the style of construction is timeless. It s not very big but gathering nice collections of Joan Milo.
  • Great museum! Being able to take photos in most of the spaces was refreshing. There's a huge variety of work on display, so you're very likely to find something here that captures your imagination. Quite a few of the pieces also have a little descriptive text associated with them, which at least allows you to understand a little more about the context or processes involved in some of the harder to appreciate pieces. Fully recommend!
  • One of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I called the main reception and politely asked for someone speaking either english or french as i unfortunately don't speak Spanish. The lady on the other end of the line wouldn't even bother to listen to me or try to help me. Instead she'd joke with a coworker and ended up hanging up on me without so much of a word. I tried to call back and, i guess, the same girl answered. I obviously got a tad mad and she hung up again asking if i was calling from Canada. Now they won't even pick up the phone. Good job Miro !
