  • I've always loved Miro and his art and this experience did nothing but increase my awareness of its grandeur. Here you can practically find anything about the artist. The rooms are huge, well lit, giving a feeling of clean, what the child (perhaps Miro) is looking forward to "dirty", "scribble". Also ideal for children: the colors Ravish everyone! Not to be missed!

  • A lovely building in a wonderful setting with great views over Barcelona. To enjoy the place you must like Miro's work. If you are not particularly interested in Miro the building is worth a visit.
  • It is a bit far from center but it is a very good collection of Miro's works. The building is also interesting. So it is nice to see but you should check the hours before you go because my friends had...  more »

  • I would recommend getting the excellent audio guide to help you navigate through this musuem. For the average people, it is a whole new world of abstract art. I find it very difficult to understand or relate to most of the artworks. It was challenging and provoking. You are not going to see beautiful paintings here.
  • Great place where you can learn something new about Joan Miró, check his sculptures and paintings. Downstairs there are also two shops with books and really nice designed souvenirs.
  • The museum was build in 1970s but the style of construction is timeless. It s not very big but gathering nice collections of Joan Milo.
  • Great museum! Being able to take photos in most of the spaces was refreshing. There's a huge variety of work on display, so you're very likely to find something here that captures your imagination. Quite a few of the pieces also have a little descriptive text associated with them, which at least allows you to understand a little more about the context or processes involved in some of the harder to appreciate pieces. Fully recommend!
  • One of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I called the main reception and politely asked for someone speaking either english or french as i unfortunately don't speak Spanish. The lady on the other end of the line wouldn't even bother to listen to me or try to help me. Instead she'd joke with a coworker and ended up hanging up on me without so much of a word. I tried to call back and, i guess, the same girl answered. I obviously got a tad mad and she hung up again asking if i was calling from Canada. Now they won't even pick up the phone. Good job Miro !
