  • ... can't miss this traditional Café of the top Pastissier Escriba. Fine cakes or fresh waffles to a cup of hot chocolate or coffee are always a sin. Since many people know these Café wait for ever on a vacant place, but it's worth it!

  • Breakfast at this place is mandatory. Delicious desserts and warm ambiance. Fixed stage in Barcelona

  • Great place, great Palace, historical workshop reported on the plate on the ground in front of the entrance (I recommend you take a peek at all the places where the outside there is a historical plaque); the products are fresh and pleasant, good quality the crème Brulee and all other slices of cake enjoy! If you request, they're Italian coffee and taste good, but with the taste of sweets looks even better! The price is well described on various menus and should not scare anyone; on average, a coffee and a piece of pie is around 6/7 euros with the satisfaction almost guaranteed! Location: located on la rambla near the Boquera market, ergo in my opinion such a place more peaceful and meditative location deserved! But that's OK, this is also Barcelona!

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
