We went with the visit that includes the audio guide, is made of the most modern thing that we have seen has that works automatically as you move. The principle is an explanation of the history of San Jordi. Fairly complete and attractive effects between the different rooms then they explain about the history of the building and finally there is a last visit to the terrace is a visit for an hour or hour and a half. We had a day without people with which I found that especially the interactive part can enjoy better. Seems a place recommended for tourists and locals since is referred to another architect, Josep Puig i Cadafalch. It would only review if anything the price, it seems to me to be a little high for time and total content of the visit, even if there is price for residents. I think that after the explanation of San jordi, visit of simplifies and is where there could be a little more than audio or history.View original -
great audio visual about ST George but disappointed that you see little of the internals of the original building. more »

Прогулка по барселонской Диагонали была ознаменована знакомством с очередным архитектурным must see столицы Каталонии – так называемым Домом с шипами (Casa de les Punxes). Шестибашенное сооружение неп... more »
Walk around Barcelona Diagonal was marked by familiarity with another architectural must see the Catalan capital-the so-called House with studs (Casa de les Punxes). Shestibashennoe construction of an irregular hexagonal shape again outside facades on three streets (Rossello, Brooke and diagonal), looks really close to a Medieval Gothic Castle, instantly attracts attention curious fellow-traveler and the hand automatically reaching for the "bolt" trusty fotik. The author of the project of the original structures, bringing together in a single concept of three separate buildings, was a Catalan Architect, art historian, politician and consummate master of the so-called Catalan modernism Josep Puig Cadafalch (Josep Puig I Cadafalch). Home-castle with red-shipastymi towers on the corners, was built in 1905 Saint order of three sisters Terrades (Terrades) that was the cause of the construction of the second name-Terrades House "(Casa Terrades). In addition to the unusual architectural solutions-fabulously-gothic castle in the heart of the Catalan capital-Casa Terrades really delivers with its unusual shape: masonry on the façade, made in brick and stone tjosanom just amazing combined with wrought iron balconies, designed by Manuel Ballarinom (Manuel Ballarín), sculptural reliefs of neo-Gothic style, Alphonse Huolja (Alfons Juyol) and stained glass work of Eduard Amigo (Eduard Amigó). Original decorations deserve special attention in the form of decorative panels with carving application installed on each of the fronts. I sincerely believe that Casa de les Punxes is one of the architectural "jewels" of the Catalan capital!View original

If you like architecture (I do), this is another good building to see in Barcelona. It was an old family mansion, now is a museum. You can see several of the original parts of the house, and go onto the roof and explore the punxes (towers). Good view. There is also a multimedia presentation of the legend of St. George. It is very well done and something I did not expect.

Meh. Roof is OK, but the audio guided tour is too long and legend is boring to watch. Although technologically it's innovative. Other places are more worth the money 💶

Wow, I never expected such a great, immersive audio-visual tour – it was like being in an episode of Game of Thrones! The first ~20 minutes were about the legend of St. George (the patron saint of Barcelona and the house) and how he saved the princess from the dragon. You walk from room to room and in each the story is continued. The production seems like from a Hollywood movie and the presentation is mind-blowing, too: sometimes the projections are on a semi-transparent screen with a mosaic behind it, sometimes the screen is surrounded by mirrors, ... After the legend has been told, the second part of the tour is about the house itself and about the architect, Josep Puig i Cadafalch. You can walk around on the rooftop-terrace and climb into all the beautiful towers, each of which hold their own secrets :)

Very nice outside. Inside is fine but don’t expect furniture or paintings there
-
