  • This house hasn't been open to the public for very long. It is an audio guided tour but it is timed. The first 20 minutes or so are spent learning about Saint George through various videos that are a ...  more »
  • Beautiful House, opened recently. The visit includes the audioguide you accompanied between the different rooms. Highly interactive experience in which the viewer experiences firsthand the legend of Sant Jordi. The tour ends on the roof, reached by a lift. Recommended!!

  • We took was the anniversary and were 2 for 1 tickets, so we took the opportunity to take the visit (€10 /px) House and the terrace with live music (€12.5 /px). The visit to the House is not nothing recommendable, only see a floor, adapted to show the history of San Jorge (that not only is the patron of Catalonia, but the communities belonging to the Crown of ARAGON - not Catalan-Aragonese, that never existed-) and little more, nothing of modernist rooms as you can see in the Pedrera or Batlló House. The terrace was the most interesting and especially for live music and dancing. Beverages included in l input is water, glass of champagne, wine, soft drink. Were ice-free at 21 h approx. drink a coca cola hot eye... in the entry also included pairing (for the anniversary? We do not know). Neither had many tables to be... Certainly by the price which is worth everything without the offer is not worth, and offering stays right.

  • A lovely building with great rooftop. The audio/visual was a bit of "filler" as there's not much to see inside.
  • Worth a visit, nice and interactive museum, got big discount when I bought tickets to the Gaudi museum which are near the kathedra.
  • While the bulding is wonderful from the outside, the tour of the interior is a waste of money! We started off with a guided tour of the outside facade, when a guide explained a history of the house, which was quite interesting (although due to noise from the street it was hard to hear). Then you enter inside and that's where you get dissapointed. The part of the house you get to visit has almost no signs of being from the modernist period, it's just white walls and tiled floors. Also you get to see a bad film about the St George's legend (screened in parts in different rooms, which you can't escape once you've started) and enter terrace (which is just a regular terrace). We felt ripped-off. Definately not worth the money you have to pay. Maybe if it cost half of its price it could be considered, for the part you spend with the guide. There are other modernist houses you can visit in Barcelona which actually still have modernist features you can admire once you enter inside.
  • Sensational audioguide with Saint George's legend and history real and fiction mixed. Modernism architecture Puig i Cadafalch. Jazz nights afternoon music in live in terrace events calendar. Tourism experience innovation movie short film 3D.
  • This museum is very interactive and fun to be in. That's if you like history, culture and art.

Where to stay in Barcelona

Because the city's metro system makes traveling from area to area relatively painless, you have more flexibility in choosing a place to stay. Barceloneta, the neighborhood surrounding the city beach is somewhat removed from the city center, making its hotels popular with families. Only a 15-minute walk from the center, Barceloneta has a more laid-back beach atmosphere but still offers several restaurants and entertainment options. Farther away from the beach and closer to the city center, El Born is a charming neighborhood well-known for its restaurants and lively bar scene. Eixample is also popular as it is more central and home to some of the city's best shopping and tourist sites, including La Sagrada Familia. For a more traditional experience, consider staying in the Gothic Quarter, the heart of Old Barcelona. This picturesque neighborhood boasts a tight network of historical architecture with boutique hotels and traditional restaurants.
