  • The Carrer Montcada is located in the eastern part of the historical centre of Barcelona, in the fashionable El born district. The small lane branches off of the Passeig del born from. From the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar from is you walk in less than three minutes here. We enjoyed the tour through the street even though it really differs from many other streets in the vicinity. Around here, there are a number of Cafés and restaurants and you can watch the costs incurred by the numerous small shops.

  • This small historic street is home to several attractions. The most important of them is the Picasso Museum, located in the Palace Berenguer d ' Aguilar. A street in the Middle Ages was considered fashionable, here are several palaces built in the Mediterranean style: thick fortress walls, built around a courtyard. So from the street palaces look bleak, but beautiful courtyards. Now in these palaces museums, galleries. Go to the courtyards of houses Nos. 12, 14, 20, 21, 23, 25.
