  • In the turó de la Rovira, ancient Iberian settlement, where preserved remains of ' a battery of Defense antiaeria of 36-39 Civil War. Des del Mirador have views to 360 ° city and alterdedores, the Guinardó Park. It is believed that at the beginning of 1938 was placed the battery there. On January 26, 1939, seeing that the fall of Barcelona was un'imminente, one of the cannons was evacuated and destroyed the rest. It is estimated that all the bombing killed 2,750 people and injured more than 7,000. Space was unused, the area grew with the arrival of immigrants, who built precarious barracks, until the year 2011 was inaugurated the current, expanded space with the recovery of the official Pavilion, the Pavilion of the troop and the place of control of the battery. To get there are 2 buses: line V 17 from Port Vell to 119 of Penitents to Carmel or Carmel. Also in metro, stop Carmel, where we walked about 15′ along a path upwards. Usually haver people, above all young and some tourists. And sometimes, a seller of drinks! For mi, the best view of Barcelona. Possibility of guided tours through the Museu d' Història de Barcelona

  • Great panoramic view over Barcelona; one of the best things is that although you are quite high you still can recognize some of the landmarks of Barcelona. A great time to visit is just before sunset
  • Incredibly amazing, the best view by far. It is relatively close to Parc Güell, so the two can be seen. Recommended.

  • Unbelievable views of Barcelona with historic context. The site is located in one of the mountains of Barcelona and has bunkers, remnants of a Civil-era antiaircraft battery. It is not handicapped accessible, but if you can go, it worth the trip. The views of the city are impressive. There is also a park where you can stroll, jog, ride bike, or rest. Worth the trip. I took bus V17 from downtown.
  • Amazing place and met a lot of Korean friends as well. You can see whole Barecelona night! Beer is very necessary! But be careful and watch out ground.
  • This has now become one of the essential stops for any visit to Barcelona, they are the best views of the city that you will find, closer than the ones from Tibidabo or Collserola, and the most accessible. The civil war museum is very interesting as well, make sure you come when it's open. Best times to come are at dawn to watch the sun rise over the sea, at midday when the museum is open and then at sunset to watch the city lights come on.
  • Combine your visit at Park Güell with a trip to this place, ca. 20 min by foot. Make sure to be there in the evening. Great 360 view over Barcelona and the sunset behind the mountains. The way up there can be exhausting and not so convenient, therefore the place is not too crowded.
  • Probably my favourite thing to do in Barcelona. Jump out at alfons x metro and walk up. Great exercise! And the views are the best! The restoration of the actual bunkers are fantastic
