Barri de Gracia, Barcelona

(4.7/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Walk around one of Barcelona’s hippest and most vibrant neighborhoods, Barri de Gracia. Relax in the Plaça de Sol, a lively square lined with places to eat, bars, and 19th-century architecture. Relish the small bohemian village atmosphere of the area, which was separate from the city until 1897. Gràcia’s mix of trendy boutiques and traditional Spanish stores make it an ideal place to pick up a souvenir. Be sure to visit its most famous attraction, Parc Güell, a park designed by famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. • Imagine the joy of living. This is Gracia during the week of August with its most beautiful block party in Catalonia "festa Major de gràcia". We stayed there for two years in a row, not to be missed, especially on the final day, at least once in their lifetime. The remainder of the neighborhood is one of the most important of Barcelona with its historic squares, restaurants, taverns, two subway lines; a city within a city. The best place to live in Barcelona. To eat we recommend the tavern el glop and pubilla

  • Gracia is one of 10 districts Barcelona is divided and is a residential neighbourhood located near the avenida diagonal. Here you find the parc guell and its streets are filled with vitality and the shutters of the shops are almost all fully painted. On weekends, when the whole town still sleeps it is not unusual to see squares groups of actors who try or enact their representations. Extreme vitality.
