  • In November 2016, we were in Barcelona for a few days and have chosen a day us where we visited the Zoo in Barcelona. The price is €20 for this relatively small Zoo pretty high. You can get quite a bit to see, many animals are viewed only from the outside. The Zoo also will be renovated. Alligators gets you to see I've missed other varieties such as monkeys and tigers a little if one compares the Zoo z.b with Berlin in majority.

  • Not the greatest assortment of rare animals but to have a zoo in the heart of the city certainly makes up for it. The plot of land is a large "L" formation so you follow the outer shape of the L on designated routes. There is a northern and western entrance. Great areas to eat a packed lunch amongst the birds or buy a meal at the various restaurants. Somewhat wheelchair accessible with some restrictions. Organize a early visit and leave for s great tapas meal at lunch just outside the gates in the Born district.
  • The park is great as an ordinary zoo. It is classically built with a lot of different animals which are easy to see. There is no more dolphin show, as it used to and I thought that the animals did not look happy. The cages are small. There is a lot of staff everywhere who clean the area and take care of animals, but in a way the glory days of the zoo have passed.
  • Best zoo experience, all animals where out for people to see. My son really enjoyed his time here.
  • Pricey at €60 for family of 4. That is unless you use 20% discounts from the Barcelona City Tour Bus, or other voucher. Zoo had the only albino gorilla, but sadly he passed away in 2003. You can still see him though in Barcelonas' Natural History Museum. Other animals are spread out the Zoo which is a nice flowing walk. Some areas closed off due to refurbishment. Children interested especially in the Lima and Rhino. I would watch out for bird poo when walking as some local birds nest in trees.
  • Good zoo, very big. Lots of animals and things to see. They was doing a lot of work and expanding too when we was there. Little bit expensive buy we really enjoyed it
