  • Disappointment is the word that summarizes my visit. For more than thirty years who had not visited the Zoo. By the news that leia, believed he was a Zoo that is had adapted to new trends in the animals in captiverio, tracts of land with animals without cages or minimum expression of them. The reality is that there are cages everywhere that almost never fail to see the animals, animals in abandoned areas without maintenance, graffiti, etc. Kids want to see the Lions, bears, giraffes... giraffes, is looked well because they are high, the two lions and two tigers, in an old and roñoso habitat behind some shrubs not you could see, installation of bears and kangaroos, abandoned, the titis a shameful cages, like monkeys, so few animals and for my careless. Children comprising little spend a good time, but the example is not good. In addition more than twenty minutes from tail on a weekday at 12.30 to pay 20 euros for a ticket. And a good part of the Zoo closed for works, which by the appearance and the few workers that there are already many months should provide.

  • A large shadowy practices in a stroller. On the other hand, facilities for animals are small and poorly designed/maintained, the animals did not look good, as the cats or the hippo/elephant/rhino. The vivarium is not bad. Not worth the price.

  • Visited during the Easter break but it wasn't too busy. Bigger than we expected for a city zoo and nicely laid out, but some of the animals really looked cramped. The wolves, lions and dolphins in par...  more »

  • Not the greatest assortment of rare animals but to have a zoo in the heart of the city certainly makes up for it. The plot of land is a large "L" formation so you follow the outer shape of the L on designated routes. There is a northern and western entrance. Great areas to eat a packed lunch amongst the birds or buy a meal at the various restaurants. Somewhat wheelchair accessible with some restrictions. Organize a early visit and leave for s great tapas meal at lunch just outside the gates in the Born district.
  • The park is great as an ordinary zoo. It is classically built with a lot of different animals which are easy to see. There is no more dolphin show, as it used to and I thought that the animals did not look happy. The cages are small. There is a lot of staff everywhere who clean the area and take care of animals, but in a way the glory days of the zoo have passed.
  • Best zoo experience, all animals where out for people to see. My son really enjoyed his time here.
  • Pricey at €60 for family of 4. That is unless you use 20% discounts from the Barcelona City Tour Bus, or other voucher. Zoo had the only albino gorilla, but sadly he passed away in 2003. You can still see him though in Barcelonas' Natural History Museum. Other animals are spread out the Zoo which is a nice flowing walk. Some areas closed off due to refurbishment. Children interested especially in the Lima and Rhino. I would watch out for bird poo when walking as some local birds nest in trees.
  • Good zoo, very big. Lots of animals and things to see. They was doing a lot of work and expanding too when we was there. Little bit expensive buy we really enjoyed it
