  • Very well-presented Museum. It is essential to know the process of making olive oil in our country which is the world's largest producer

  • Going with questions as we went with children and did not know how would be the experience. Sorpreson! first per guide Elena, that cannot be better explaining, very pleasant and enjoyable. Congratulations on having someone as well. The Museum is very interesting with valuable pieces. You end up knowing the types of olives, oils... Very educational and interesting. The subsequent oil tasting was very instructive and fun. It has been a great experience to make friends or family. Then we went to the almazar to buy oil and they give you a bottle (which is very rich, by the way) all bought at very competent.

  • It has been the biggest surprise of my visit to the province of Jaén. It was not in my initial plans to visit this Museum, but to see the directions to get to it from the road between Jaén and Baeza entered us curiosity and do not repent. The first thing that draws attention is the place where it is installed, in the middle of the field, between olive trees and the reason is none other that use the facilities of an ancient mill and the famous Winery called "Cathedral of the oil". The Museum is very well-equipped and does not lack anything. It has a large garden with an olive tree of each variety recognized around the world. You visit in an hour and the price is cheap, about € 3.50. Highly recommended.

  • A great museum, but there's not enough explanation in languages other than Spanish, so did not get the maximum benefit.
  • Past glory. But still functional and very instructive. And for the entrance fee you pay, there is actually nothing to and his whining. Kooo here but beautiful extra virgin. Great prizes. For less money you will have to go to a cooperative. But here is the offer much more spacious.

  • Very interesting, this very well equipped to inform visitors of what was to collect the olive tree in the past. Beloved site, there worked the family ancestors. Worth seeing it

  • The origin of the Hacienda La Laguna dates back to the 17th century. It was then owned by the society of Jesus, as evidenced by the letter from the purchase of these lands in 1641, and later texts, which wspomninają about "the transformation of agriculture and invest in olive groves and farms". Polish engineer Thomas Francis Bartmański presents the project of planting 100.000 olive trees, construction of three hydraulic mill, and the development of a modern irrigation system. In the 20th century, the Hacienda is a process of decomposition to the 1989 year falling into disrepair. In the late 90 's of the twentieth century formed Baeza Consortium Hacienda "La Laguna", that after the purchase of virtually all major buildings, proposed construction of a hotel and this olive press Museum (Museo de la Cultura del Olivo).

  • The Museum of the culture of the olive tree, created in 1997, is the Temple of the olive grove and the olive oil in the province of Jaén. It is located in a large building from the 17TH century, in which highlights the winery, magnificent example of industrial architecture built in 1848 and known as the 'Cathedral of the oil". The Museum, which is considered of Cultural interest, is divided into several spaces; three buildings containing different models of mills, a garden of varieties of olive trees from various countries and the winery. Along the itinerary of the visit shows the steps to obtain oil, from the more traditional methods of olive cultivation, to modern marketing and packaging processes.
