  • We take one morning to go to visit the Museum of the culture of the olive, is 8 km from Baeza, but deserves the penalty, first because of its location in the area of la Laguna and the second by the attractive parts possessing this museum are. Impressive to see the winery work of a Polish architect because it is rare within the architecture of this type of Haciendas. It also has a specialized store of oils and derived from the same where you can buy and try them. The Museum staff is very friendly and helps you to choose the types of oils. Highly recommended visit.

  • A great museum, but there's not enough explanation in languages other than Spanish, so did not get the maximum benefit.
  • The origin of the Hacienda La Laguna dates back to the 17th century. It was then owned by the society of Jesus, as evidenced by the letter from the purchase of these lands in 1641, and later texts, which wspomninają about "the transformation of agriculture and invest in olive groves and farms". Polish engineer Thomas Francis Bartmański presents the project of planting 100,000 olive trees, the construction of three hydraulic mill, and the development of a modern irrigation system. In the 20th century, the Hacienda is a process of decomposition to the 1989 year falling into disrepair. In the late 90 's of the twentieth century formed Baeza Consortium Hacienda "La Laguna", that after the purchase of virtually all major buildings, proposed construction of a hotel and this olive press Museum (Museo de la Cultura del Olivo).
