  • Right in the Centre of Aviles, near the Ayuntamento and beside the Hotel NH Palacio de Aviles, is the Church of San Francisco, known as the Church of San Nicolas de Bari, a former Franciscan convent built in 1599. Have a great story and worth the visit! If no exterior draws attention, of course, is its interior is the result of the Franciscan order. A place of prayer, silence is searching for yourself!

  • Church need a restoration, smells a lot to moisture to enter, your admission is free, and is very close to the Plaza of Spain, I hoping more inside is simple, but you can visit.

  • A pity that a pretty Church is so damaged, mostly inside, would require that so much moisture there is. I would highlight the main altar with the statue of S. Antonio and the mausoleum of the founder of the oldest U.S. city. You have to see it and expect that any time they restore it conveniently.
