  • Located outside the city in the plaza Santa Teresa, right in front of the door of the Alcázar of the medieval walls or large market. Told us the guide that the Church began to rise, not just to retain documents on it, and probably on other pre-existing building, in the first half of the 12TH century as part of the process of repopulation of a vast area of Castilla y León, after the conquest of Toledo in 1085 by Alfonso VI, at the hands of the count Raimundo de Borgoña married to Doña Urraca, daughter of the monarch, an enclave in the city that was linked to the elites, inhabited by Knights, nobles and clergy as well as painters, sculptors, assemblers and entalladores.

  • Beautiful church Romanesque of the 12th century unfortunately open only during the mass. I put a picture the reconstitution of the stained glass of the time.

  • You can see from one of the doors for access to the wall, you have a very nice facade and is located in a plaza crowded with many shops and restaurants around.
