  • Landscapes seen in the Principality of Asturias are very beautiful, captivating, funny and to enjoy the moment of relaxation that you provide. One of them is the hiking trail from the Rio Alba, a familiar route that runs along the Valley of the river ALB, has an extension of 7,5 kms very light, family, gives the characteristic to go knowing the wealth spell both of nature and of the flora, fauna and vegetation, while you are relaxing to the sound of the river which accompanies you along the entire route. This trail is accessed first reaching the village of Soto de Agues, which is beautiful with a beautiful mountain and natural surroundings beautiful and impressive architecture. I hope that you will enjoy some holiday of this route and sure have it as well as I spent it. GussiDj

  • The village, Soto de Agües, that comes out is very nice. He is very careful, has great parking, at least 4 restaurants and bars and a good collection of bread and hórreos. The path is very nice it runs parallel to the river. You can see caves in the limestone rock, waterfalls, streams, vegetation, lizards, goats, cows, sheep, and, if lucky, birds of prey, etc.  It is simple in the first 5 km to go with children and chairs because it is asphalted and fenced in the side of the river. And a good point are the entries of the road to the river that facilitate the bathroom with small or a soak feet.  Watch out! But it is complicated and risky in the 2 latest km. rocks irregular and slippery, muddy areas, narrow passages beside precipice characterized the final km. If going with Chair recommended, leave it in a hiding place as we did to finish the last 2 km and pick it up again. I do not recommend that said last stretch is travel with children under 3 or 4 years.  Finally, there is some source down the road and a couple of picnic areas. In the point in which the path is complicated and ultimately hidden among tall grass. It is a pity that not well signal the end of route or the km missing along the way, and that is so abandoned and neglected the arrival point.

  • Not uncommon because it is like strolling through the Park's next to your House but in nature. There are no slopes, the road is flattened (almost paved), the views are wonderful... In the end, all tickets that saturate people. If you want to avoid crowds do it first thing in the morning or outside the tourist season. And an important detail... to make it complete because the best, the most wild, slopes and surprises are at the end of the path (beyond the picnic area). In any case, is a wonderful ride. Essential!

  • This mountain walk offers nice natural scenery & it is easily accessible. Can be done with kids (stroller up to certain point) & is situated in the National Park of Redes. For those who are interested to discover more can choose different paths that will lead you to higher viewpoints from where one can enjoy mountains that surround Rio Seco ( Dry River).
  • Familiar
  • Route easy to following the course of the river. Almost the entire route can lead to children in car (4-5 km). With the cart you can reach a gorgeous picnic area. Highly recommended to wear clothes to get into the various pools that exist along the way (the water is nice and cool jejjejje). In the village where you start, there are different bars with menus

  • Simple route of about two or three hours depending on how you take it. You can take the food or can benefit from summer and go to the picnic area mill to fish some trout.

  • Easy route along the river. The road is in very good condition. Along the way and at the end of the same you can enjoy various picnic areas. Children love, above all to the end and be able to plunge into the river.
