  • A museum that is indispensable for the mining industry in all its aspects, and how it has evolved with the passage of time. Very entertaining for major and small while teaching.

  • Recreation of a mine with explanations about the exploitation of the coal mining in asturias in general and in particular basins. Very interesting exhibition on the upper floors

  • The mining museum has beautifully preserved original machinery and is really interesting to learn about the history of the industrial revolution and with it the growing need for energy... coal. Just for this reason already visit is worthwhile. Asturias, so historically linked mining, would not understand without study and understand the importance of coal mining has had and still has. The Museum has a replica of a mine. I want to emphasize that it is a REPRODUCTION, it is not a natural mine. For my mistake, I thought initially that at least partly a natural mine is visiting, but not so. It is a simulation. Starting from this premise, in any case, it is VERY INTERESTING. "Lower" in the cage to the well. Walk into the mine. See the different types of tubing. The pits where miners worked. You can actually feel the hardness of work, congoja it to "600" metres below ground, with such complicated conditions associated with the mining. In short the visit worthwhile. Accessible for all the family.
