  • The cave of Mendukilo, which in ancient times was used as poultry by the shepherds of the area, is a marvel of groundwater in the sierra de Aralar a visit very interesting especially for the respect towards the cave, if you're lucky will be some of the different animals that live in it. Despite it well upgraded that are with stairs and railings, as in the most of them caves, there are that have care for people with mobility reduced, since is descends until-40 meters in a time of the visit is switched off all them lights for feel and hear the cave

  • We find these caves as we pass by Lekunberri, and the truth is that we loved. We arrived 10 minutes before the start of a guided visit (entry €8) and, after shelter us a little (the cave makes cool, 8 degrees) and enjoy a video, we enter the cave that is accompanied by a guide. Explanations and how to interact with the public of the Guide were 10. All very enjoyable and interesting. We loved it. And the more cave yet. It is spectacular.

  • It is a recommended visit to learn how one lived in aralar years ago. In the cave is cold, but the floor is fine. You can do with young children. To repeat

  • Fresh and beautiful caves. There are some very beautiful caves. And well prepared to visit. It should bring warm clothing in summer, it's been 10 degrees inside. Also bring good Footwear, since due to the humidity, the soil is quite slippery. It is worth to spend a while there. I believe remember that 8 euros adults and 6 children.

  • The visit was in Basque and we understood almost nothing. But the place is amazing and the kids loved them. It has no cafeteria. We had to wait an hour and without taking anything awaiting us became long.

  • Forest of beech trees surrounding a wonder (if Gnomes, elves, fairies and elves exist, must live in a forest-like). To define the cave there is only one word: spectacular. Amaia, guide, a charm. Their explanations bring the love for nature in general and of the underground world in particular. As stated in previous comments, a café in the reception centre only miss to make the wait more pleasant until it starts the visit. Care and conservation of the cave as the environment is a 10. In short, my score an outstanding high.
