  • If it is with trade winds blow better defect, if you do not see the mountain from a sea flush forget, see banana is to caress the potassium, as to Rafa Nadal a set

  • About our guide, we were alerted to this botanical garden. It's good to find via Google maps. The entrance is however unimpressive. For this, the entrance is impressive. Because already at the entrance, we saw banana plants with ripe bananas and it was routed through a tunnel of plants. Entrance €6 is completely appropriate. You can see many tropical plants, especially those seen in miniature from our living rooms. But there are also magnificent peacocks and tortoises. There is absolutely pleasant. We were there even outside the opening times and came in. Absolutely recommendable.

  • If you like a quiet place with some stunning trees and cactusses, you definitely should go there. It is never busy.  more »
  • Drove over here specifically to visit the garden and it was closed for a private function with no obvious signage. It is also tricky to spot the entrance to the parking and looks like had it been open, you need to pay to enter (6 euro at time of writing). Given there is a free garden nearby I wouldn't make the trip.
  • The gardens are beautiful but they need a make up, for instance most botanic signs with names of trees and plants are missing.
  • This garden is simply amazing. You could easily take a whole afternoon to explore the place! So many exotic plants and fruit trees: palms, bananas, avocados, mango, jackfruit, passion fruit and so many others!! There are a lot of peacocks you can observe and so many interesting corners in this massive garden: fountains, lakes, outdoor pavilions and hidden paths. Here's an insider tip: have the lumamba from their bar (hot chocolate with banana liquor) it's sooooo yuummy!
  • Well kept botanical garden
  • Tropical paradise Just 2 minutes drive from Arucas along the GC-330 towards the coast, is this little gem. MUCH better than the official Botanical Garden! And much easier to negotiate too. If you have a Garmin satnav it is actually programmed in. If not, start driving along the GC-330, be ready: the garden is on the RH side, in the "elbow" as the road bends left. There is a good car park. The garden is little known, although there are some coaches that drop off large parties. Mostly it can be very quiet. In low season, when they aren't expecting a coachload, they don't bother to staff the entrance kiosk. There's a bell to ring, but if they don't hear you, just start walking around. You'll soon meet a member of staff who'll sell you a ticket. Just stroll slowly so that you get to see it all. Mind the peacocks! It's not very large, but it is filled with different set pieces and mini-gardens. Delightful! And good lavatories, with soap and eau-de-cologne. There is no public transport to get here, but if you have a hire-car, this is an excellent half day out. .
