  • We drove from Arta to Cala Torta and walked down to the beach. It is nestled between the rocks. Nice white sand, good waves. It was Friday, so there were a few hundred people there, but the beach wasn...  read more »
  • It is long time on Mallorca and thinks everything to know, which will sometimes follow signs to the small subtle. Are we Past driving Cala Torta felt determined already thousand times... "Cala Torta"... Oh yeah, still a Bay. OK, any when we thought "Let's look at it the Bay". With the car first went a nice asphalt road along. Sometime it goes right down to a restaurant with a magnificent view. Then continue to a fork turn right and follow a very adventurous route. Partly washed out by the rain, this path has lot of some deep craters and potholes. Who perseveres and who trust it himself and his vehicle can drive down to the Bay. There is a great place to park. The Bay itself is natural. Saying that this beautiful Cove to split is roughly into three sections. Left with rocky base in the water... Center with seaweed on the beach and right with a slightly sloping sandy beach which invites to bathing. Depending on how the wind from the sea the waves are strong, and it has slight undercurrent on the beach if it is in the flat area. Right, the Bay is also suitable for children. The Bay is covered with a fine sand and "still" very clean. Currently, a small booth place has opened here. There are snacks and drinks. We have seen here (yet) a toilet. Since this Bay is still relatively little visited's is still very quiet. The Bay is not recommended for bad weather. You will find also here without shelter when it rains. Also hard to drive on the road in the rain (at least the last unpaved piece). We can recommend the Bay for families with children.

  • Great tip on Mallorca. Be sure about Arta drive, otherwise you won't reach by car. See photos, you can go almost up front. The beach is clean and the water beautiful wavy and warm. Visitor relaxes, the bar is crowded and offers good drinks & food. The road is very bumpy and difficult to negotiate. Absolutely recommended!
