The permanent Exhibition of the main Panta: Without being select, is sufficiently interesting, as well as the restored frescoes of Cesar Manrique. The exhibitions that are offered periodically are of very different interest: there seems to be a very strict criterion in their choice. To This, we must add the lack of respect for the artist who follows the little care of the details: In the last exhibition I visited (Alfredo Montaña), the quality of the video that was projected in one of the rooms, was lousy. I mentioned it at the entrance and they told me that, indeed, it was, but that they could not do anything as it was the copy provided by the artist. Things like this, as well as failures in the lighting of the works, show a lot of the visit. In any case, it is advisable To visit... Just in case the flute rings. ;)

Today it belongs to the City Council of Arrecife (Department of Culture) being the perfect place to celebrate exhibitions, lectures, colloquiums among other events.
After visiting Casa Amarilla nearby, we went here to see the continuation of the exhibition we saw there. Entry was free and the building consists of a number of large room displaying a variety of paintings, murals and sculptures, both traditional and modern. The gallery has a pleasant ambience that encourages you to take time to look around. I found the works displayed more interesting and accessible for a casual visitor like me, than I did when I visited the MIAC (Castillo San José) last year. Incidentally, the MIAC is also hosting part of this same exhibition too. Not all the works will appeal to everyone, but I think most visitors will find plenty they will enjoy. The gallery has an upper floor accessed via an attractive wooden staircase, with carvings either side. I think there was also a lift to access it, but I'm not certain of that. There are also public toilets available on both floors. We spent around 45 minutes going around the whole place. Definitely worth it if you have the time.
Great open concerts
Bad communication to the citizen. They Do Not Open in the opening hours at the door and do not notice that it is closed to the public from the day after the opening of an exhibition (World Press Photo). They Don't cater to the phone listed on Google.
Ample Space with exhibition of paintings of great artists. There Are works by César Manrique, Ildefonso Aguilar, Rufina Santana...
