  • The visit well worth. Visit the original mine (which is not flooded as it is close to the beach and underground) and explain you in detail the lives of the miners and their evolution. The output of the mine is awesome.

  • I've already been here twice. It should be obligatory for all schoolchildren in Asturias. The first mine vertical of the peninsula, the first mine under the sea from Europe, the first railway in Spain... And all explained in a very didactic way. is more an experience of the past that a visit to a mine abandoned... Highly recommended

  • The truth that you did not expect to meet with a museum to be mining, q here in Asturias there are few, it shocked me, but so it was. The visit is very entertaining, guide makes it very enjoyable and you hooked into the story. The Museum they have is also worthwhile. I recommend it to also go with children. And although low really down to the mine nor gives it feeling very claustrofobica. I not wakefulness more details because it is worthwhile to discover them

  • Very good Museum. Touring the original galleries and you can appreciate the conditions in which they worked in the 19TH century, which is when this mine began to explode. Do you travel with a guide that you v explaining all the details. Highly recommended.

  • A Museum is highly recommended. It is necessary to book appointment but if you go and do not have appointment, and there are enough people (6 or 8 people) sometimes open a new group. They are quite flexible. The attention is great. The Museum is good but what is really worthwhile is the descent to the real mine, which revives the life of it when it was operational. If you go with very young children, keep in mind that it is cold and smells are strong and there is enough darkness. The experience is incredible. The entry price is 4.50 adults and 2.50 children. The visit lasts about an hour.

  • Missed the exhibition Museum, although it has some lack, as in some old pictures that are not dated. If you're passionate about the subject, will take you 1 h easily, not the 20 min. estimated by the staff. The visit to the galleries is valid for physical disabled, elderly or children, because it is simple and relatively short, but enough to understand the world of mine (for a more profound or direct knowledge, there are more suitable museums in the mining basins, as well Soton). The price is right.
