  • The Poblado Cantabro is way out of the way but so worth it! You have to drive to Argueso, which isn't much of a village and then quite a ways down a not so great gravel/dirt road. We contemplated turn...  more »
  • It is the reconstruction of a Cantabrian castro, it is experimental archaeology. It is a private project and the entrance with guided tour € 4 charge. They explain very well the history of the Cantabrians. We had a good time and the visit did not us for anything heavy. We went with two txikis. With saddle is you can not upload. We have carried the small backpack. You can climb by car up to 300 metres before the town. Since the village is 1 km.

  • If you visit the Castle, you have to get close to the Cantabrian town, the hike of about 1,300 m in rise of stones becomes something hard for people who are not accustomed, but the truth that is worth having an idea of how living ancestors, good of the Cantabrians, but more or less all would start equal. Exhibition in different mackerel reconstructed by people without spirit of profit and for the sole purpose of making history, based on discoveries in other areas and the documentation and relevant studies, visit them and help to this group of great workers
