Castillo de Argueso Reviews
Het is best leuk even het kasteel binnen te lopen. Er zijn rondleidingen soms maar dan wel in het Spaans more »It's pretty fun just to walk in the Castle. There are guided tours sometimes but in Spanish

The entrance fee is €2 the girl loved to climb the stairs, see the bedroom, the plenary Hall. You get an idea of what life in a medieval castle. A good discovery and very entreternido for an afternoon
Tiene su encanto y está restaurado de hace poco, dentro hay algo de mobiliario. Es pequeñito y no necesita de Guia. more »It has its charm and is restored in recently, inside there is some furniture. It is small and does not require Guide.
Castle very well restored and accessible with very knowledgeable about its history and Nice staff, dominates the Valley where it passes the livestock in the area since the middle ages. Nice visit in the area.
Fantastic conservation of the medieval castle of St. Vincent the two towers stood up during the centuries XIII (right) and 14th (left). He belonged to the House of la Vega, and in the next century, through the marriage of Doña Leonor de la Vega with Diego Hurtado de Mendoza, became the lordship of the Mendoza.
The Castle has been rebuilt to a large extent but using techniques of the time. It highlights the excellent work of the wood.
It is one of the few Castles in the region of Cantabria, belonged to the Marquis of Santillana. He currently hosts a wonderful printing as if they have made reforms in the whole structure of the Castle, as well as on the inside where a craftsman Carpenter if you must fight for after many years of work.
As the majority of the castles around the world this is reconstructed, but in this case and as explained in the visit (2 €) is all done by hand, as in the past. It is worth to enter and see the finishes on wood and stonework. In its interior you can access a foreign viewpoint, several balconies, one room with period furniture and different rooms in which temporary exhibitions are made, but what is really striking are the rooms itself and finishes, ceilings, stairs, doors and others. Very close to the highway, so you can also visit making a small break. Highly recommended.
